Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz and sports journalist Countryman Songo
Outspoken Ghanaian sports journalist, Patrick Osei Agyemang, popularly known as Countryman Songo, has cautioned Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz that he will face the wrath of Ghanaians if he fails to deliver.
He stated that the Portuguese coach’s appointment has brought joy to many Ghanaians, who are excited about his vast coaching experience and believe in his potential.
The Fire for Fire show host on Adom TV stressed that Queiroz received a massive reception from Ghanaians at his press conference, and there are huge expectations for him to produce positive results.

Speaking at the official unveiling ceremony at the Alisa Hotel on April 23, 2026, Countryman Songo warned that the cheers from Ghanaians could quickly turn into harsh criticisms if Queiroz does not deliver, while also wishing him the best of luck.
“Blessing you with the fire this afternoon. Coach, everybody you see here is very happy, but if you feel the fire, you should take note. Ghana must win games. The Black Stars must win games."
"We want results. Ghana’s best performance at the World Cup was the quarterfinal berth in 2010. But I, the fireman, and Ghanaians are wishing you the best of luck. Just be professional and move on,” he said.
