GFA (not the coach) dropping Derrick Arthur Kohn, in place of Baba Rahman, who has been on self imposed exile and hibernation until Kurt engineered his reappearance again is a great disincentive to the team and I just wonder how foreign born players will view future nationality switches.

Mr. Agyemang-Badu, I think you are putting too much pressure on Semenyo. Football as you rightly know is a Team sport. Within the Team maybe some exceptional talented players. What you need to do is encourage the entire playing body of the Black Stars to "die" a little for Mother Ghana. It is sad that we boast of talented players, but when assembled together, we are not able to perform. For starters, let us Ghanaians, "keep quiet" and let the Technical staff put together a cohesive squad to represent Ghana at the WC - 2026. And this starts with a no interference policy from the GFA. Let the appointed Coach do his job for once in peace, and be accountable for his actions.
There is hope for Ghana Black Stars. We need the right mind-set.

If Semenyo makes a run but JA still holds on to ball and keep turning round, trying to set a new world record of holding on to the ball for the longest time, how is he going to help?

For a team that is relatively weak in midfield (and defence and attack) and loses the ball in midfield easily and too frequently, quick transition is one of the effective tools they can rely on. But when the usual selfish play of some players frustrate such transitions, we should not expect anything but quick disgraceful exit from the tournament.

At man city, its offensive play,get the ball, pass n go but in Ghana, get the ball, dribble, stay so long on the ball till possession is lost or get the ball, play back to defence. No cohesiveness. Ghana needs a system which is progressing the ball not retrogressing. With the type of system we play, bring Messi or Ronaldo, they will fail.
