The only good thing I saw in this game was that when Ghana play with a sense of urgency and with controlled aggression, they can produce positive results. The goal came after Ghana played with more urgency and physical domination at the beginning of the second half.

However, after the goal that intensity dropped, and Wales creeped back into the game. If they maintain their physical dominance and intensity they exhibited at the beginning of the second half, for most of the duration of the game then they can make it to Rd 2. Otherwise, we are toast because we just don't have the depth of quality players like we had at the 2010 world cup squad. Back then we had players like Gyan, Essien, KPB, Muntari etc., who could produce moments of magic out of nothing. In this team with the exception of Semenyo and maybe Nuamah we have nothing. As a result, we have to rely on teamwork, physical superiority and endurance. It is all we have got.

He is poor—there are a few positive aspects, but far too many wrong squad decisions were made. Ibrahim Sulemana, Majeed Ashimeru, Raja sakyi, and Joseph Paintsil would have been better choices. Ransford-Yeboah had a bad game against Mexico, but he is a strong player. Adu, Asante, Sibo, and Elisha are an absolute catastrophe—absolutely, truly, incredibly bad. Adu is not a footballer, and Elisha and Sibo are an absolute joke. Asante is also vastly overrated. Sibo is so immobile and possesses zero technique—he is a disastrous player. How could you pick him ahead of Ibrahim Sulemana—who plays for Atalanta? Sibo would never make it at Atalanta; he is far too poor. An incredibly disastrous decision. Adu and Asante are also very bad players—a very wrong decision!
