Sure, filthy rich, yet he can't make up for his bounced check on a $200,000 used luxury watch. Only an arrogant man with no common sense will allow this to happen to him. He now has a criminal case pending against him, when he could have just made the merchant whole by making good on that bounced check. He never complained about the watch being defective, so why with all his millions of dollars refuse to settle with the merchant? There's no doubt that he has tons of money, but only a rich fool will allow a small purchase to land him in criminal court because of his refusal to pay for some merchandise that he purchased and has no excuse for bouncing his check while still maintaining possession of that item.

Like all boxers who come into money, they squander it on jewelries, cars, etc, without channeling their funds through investments. Some do and some don't. Next you'll him being charged with tax evasion. It appears Floyd has squandered most of his money and now he's contemplating coming out of retirement. A fool and his money are soon parted.

The crime was committed in America, hence the spelling of 'check'. had the crime occurred in the UK or Ghana, the spelling would have been correctly been 'cheque'. Regardless of where the crime took place, both check and cheque are acceptable spellings.
