When you apply for a visa, you have to state any impending cases against you or crimes you have been charge with. Based on the Ivorian player's response, he was deemed inadmissable to Canada and somehow you seem to have a problem with that.

The ivorian player wasn't charged with any betting but he was arrested, detained and released..as we speak investigations into allegations of match fixing, accepting bribes to win yellow cards, accepting proceeds of stolen property etc have all been alleged..infact his matter was appealed and I've just found out that Canada has rescinded their decision and will now allow him to travel with the ivorian team to Canada..had he been charged with a crime like Partey that would.have been different.

America does the same as well..so this isn't new to me..I know regular people who were charged in Canada with petty offenses but were denied entry into America and yet they coukd travel.tp the Caribbean or to Ghana so it all.comes down to the.laws of the country and the discretion they apply. They treat each matter individually. The law does not apply to everyone equally.
