As the current coach of Ivory Coast, you have had the opportunity to manage these players over at least 2 AFCONs. If you had spotted these immature traits or conduct, you should have taught, trained, and guided them on how to overcome these challenges before going to the big stage. It's all a part of the job because those unresolved problems will determine how far your team's success can go. Telling the world that your exit from the WC was due to "lack of maturity" is also indirectly telling the world that you did not adequately prepare your players ahead of the big task ahead. It takes effective leaders to manage a team to become successful and I think you have failed the talented players you had for the tournament, Ivory Coast, and Africa.

Personally, I was questioning myself aloud why they’re so unfocused when Norway netted their second goal. There were several Ivorian players in the box but none of them was marking the only Norwegian dangerous player in the box who scored that second goal. That’s a classical immaturity on the part of the Ivorian players. Sadly, this happened close to the end of the game too! I hope Ghana Black Stars is learning from all those matches ahead of them!
