Roger De Sa has confirmed that his time as assistant coach of Ghana's Black Stars has come to an end following the expiration of his short-term contract.
Speaking to KickOff Magazine, the South African coach revealed that his agreement with the Ghana Football Association was solely for the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
"I was only contracted until the end of July, so that's it. My contract was just for the World Cup, and it ends on the 31st of July,” De Sa said.
De Sa joined the Black Stars in April 2026, after Carlos Queiroz was appointed head coach ahead of the World Cup.

The move reunited the pair, who previously worked together with Egypt and Iran, with De Sa serving as one of Queiroz's trusted assistants.
The technical team guided Ghana to the knockout stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after the Black Stars secured a win over Panama, drew with England and lost narrowly to Croatia in the group stage.
Ghana's campaign ended in the Round of 32 following a 1-0 defeat to Colombia.
De Sa's confirmation means the Black Stars will definitely need a reshuffle within the technical team after July 31, 2026.
Moreover, the future of head coach Carlos Queiroz remains unclear. While reports have suggested the Portuguese coach has left his position following a social media post after Ghana's World Cup exit, the Ghana Football Association is yet to officially confirm any decision regarding his future.
