Kudus Mohammed has taken a significant step in his recovery journey after returning to on-pitch training with Tottenham Hotspur during the club’s pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Ghanaian forward has been undergoing a lengthy rehabilitation process during the offseason after being sidelined since the second half of the 2025/26 season.

Kudus’ absence was a major blow for both Tottenham and Ghana, as the 25-year-old missed the 2026 FIFA World Cup after failing to recover in time to represent the Black Stars at the tournament.

The former West Ham United player, who joined Spurs after leaving the Hammers, had established himself as one of Ghana’s most influential attacking players, making his injury setback a difficult period for the player and his supporters.

However, Tottenham’s latest training updates show the midfielder back on the pitch as he works towards full fitness under new season preparations.

Kudus has been involved in individual work and rehabilitation exercises as he builds up his strength and match readiness before returning to competitive action.

The 2026/27 season could mark a fresh start for the Ghana star, who will be hoping to regain his best form and play a key role in Tottenham’s plans.

Before his injury, Kudus had been a key figure for Spurs, contributing with his creativity, ball-carrying ability and attacking versatility.
