The only reason why Messi cried was to comfort his country people,...he knew if he did not cry, his country folk would degrade him,...so it was a strategic cry. With this cry now he remains a hero in their hearts forever. He had no reason to cry, he's still the greatest footballer ever, he's too wealthy, he has his family, and his generation will bever have to work ever again. The cry was strategic crying,...his legacy is beyond cemented, and he will forever be a cult figure in Argentine history,...he played the script well with his tears!!!

No Latin American countries supported them. Messi's old age finally showed as he was virtually ineffective, with the whole team not taking a shot at goal for over 90 minutes.
