Well, that's not the commentators' fault.
That's the fault of those who OWN the rights to the T V streaming.
World Cup used to be free streaming. If you had a TV set, you could watch it.
Today, streaming companies are already in charge.
Wait till Infantino's invitation to for-profit investors come in.
Can you pay for their shares?
How much will they charge you to watch, to attend games?
Will their greed be stoppable?
Your TV company may have to charge you 2 million kwacha just to watch each game in your own home.
Think about it.

This is the beginning of the death of FIFA, folks.
A new, people's CISA, the Confederation of International Soccer Associations, led by Europe, will replace it, where there will be no commercialisation of a single individual, a situation that pressures referees to be biased against other teams as we saw in 2026.

This is the lack of knowledge of our people. This is not sponsorship my friend. This is called ownership rights. Once that happens you may not be able to watch the game on your TV for free or cheap because the investors will charge more for their return of investment(ROI). I know in Africa we will just be looking at the figures($40M) been mentioned without looking at the long therm ramifications. As usual we are just followers. For lack of Knowledge my people will continue to perish and sacrifice for less.
