In interviews, management continuously praises and justifies the inclusion of underperforming players who simply do not contribute at the international level.If this team actually wants to achieve success, the entire approach must change. The squad needs to be built around young, dynamic talents like Nuamah, Kudus, and Semenyo. These are the players who should form the core of the team moving forward, rather than relying on limited, ineffective players who lack the technical quality needed to compete.It remains highly questionable how certain individuals with poor track records or those without active club contracts continue to secure spots in the national team. For instance, Jordan did not manage a single shot on target during the entire tournament—an amateur performance so poor that even a hobby player with zero fitness could have likely achieved a better result. Selecting players who display this level of performance, or who transition to lower-tier leagues right after a major tournament, proves that the current selection process is flawed. We cannot expect better results until the federation stops prioritizing underachieving players over genuine, high-quality talent.

There are also a few other more who should retire because they are not bringing positive impacts. Atizigi is a good goalkeeper but his is not making positive impacts and has to go with the likes of Kamaldeen Sulemana who can play 20 matches without a goal or assist. The coaches and GFA officials must be bold to weed out unproductive materials in the national team. Elisha Owusu showed initial promise but he has to be substituted for being unproductive.
