Semenyo, Ibrahim, Oppong: How Ghanaian players performed in the UCL

Ghanaian players made their presence felt across the opening matchweek of the UEFA Champions League, with Antoine Semenyo, Rahim Ibrahim and Kojo Oppong Peprah all involved for their respective clubs.

However, he remained on the bench as the Turkish side played out a 1-1 draw, meaning he is still waiting to make his Champions League debut.

Ghana therefore had three players involved in the opening matchweek, although only Semenyo and Ibrahim featured on the pitch.
