Being born in a foreign country does not limit how many years you can play for the blackstars national footbal team. Look at the Ayew brothers, born in France and playing for long for Ghana. Semenyo could have played for England easily but he made Ghana his first choice when he was young. The examples you are giving are those who waited to join blackstars in their late 20's geting to 30 years when they had been rejected by their country of birth, then they can only play for a short while. He is retiring at 32 and that is normal age most players retire from international football even among the best players who won the worldcup retired around that age. Before Inaki joined blackstars he had only played 1 time for Spain 6 years prior in a friendly match. Before that he joined blackstars he was in the Basque national football team (and not even Spain), its a national team that can't play in any national competition.
