  First of all this is an African continental trophy and the fact that the dispute has to go to Europe for adjudication is in itself not right. Why can't we establish our own non-political Sports Council of Arbitration for African affairs? Every African who saw the game knows who won. Why do we have to go to Europe to resolve such disputes? Do Europeans come to Africa to resolve their sports disputes?

  Senegal won it and they deserve it. Referees decisions are FINAL regardless of the mistakes that a referee will make during playing time. Players and spectators can have different views and can even challenge the referee but at the end of the day the referee’s decision and report are final. Why didn’t the referee and the match commissioner stop the match when the Senegalese left the pitch to protest the penalty? The whole world watched the game and it appeared they had the result already decided but God intervened. It will be so shameful if they award the trophy to Morocco.
