William Bediako is a former Berekum Chelsea player
Former Berekum Chelsea midfielder William Bediako has joined Spanish giants Atlético Madrid on loan.
The 18-year-old moved to Spain this summer and signed for lower-league side Trival Vald, who have farmed him out to the Metropolitano with an option to buy.
Bediako, a defensive midfielder, amassed 30 league appearances in the Ghana Premier League in two seasons.
According to GHANASoccernet sources, he will feature for the U19 side to help in his adaptation and transformation.
A Berekum Chelsea statement read: ‘’We are excited to announce that our attacking midfielder, William Bediako, has signed for Atlético de Madrid.
"Everyone at the club wishes William Bediako all the very best."
