Whoever wear that jersey should pray unceasingly that any curse or dominion on the Jersey is destroyed in order for that person to do well at the Nations cup.
I am beginning to realize that introduction of Atsu into the Stars camp led to the Ayew's scandal.
Though Atsu has nothing to do with it. The leaders use Atsu as a base to thwart the Ayews, as the Ayews were trying to dictate their superiority and dominance on the team and coaches. Due to the fact that without Dede, black star is nothing.
But God gave Atsu, a humble respectable dude to qualm that claim.
With Atsu black star need not to beg the Ayew's to play.
However; and if that assertion is true, I will question integrity of the Black star management for not being able to put those talents together.
If you look at Brazil and their dominance in the World of soccer. They have equally talented players yet manage to bring them together to perform.
We need to work with principles and not emotions, which most Ghanaians are emotionally attached to the team, hence make baseless argument.
Whatever the case is, we should all eschew our pride and work to put all talents we have together, but find effective ways to manage those players and Ghana will be a force in the World cup.
That said I will chose principles, leadership, cohesion than pride and prejudice.

Why do people always want to foment disunity in the Stars camp. Why is it that all of a sudden people want to create an unhealthy rivalry between Atsu and the Ayews we don't need this . Foolish divisive idiots

You are the only one so far who have been smart enough to realise how spurious and foolish an attempt to drive a wedge between the players at a time when unity is needed for the tough task ahead. This 90 mins is more concerned with tabloid sensationalism rather than concrete and proper journalism which will aid Ghana football.It doesn't matter who wears the No.10 jersey. What we want is all the players giving their best whether one is wearing No. 0 or 100. Readers and forumites must endeavour to analyse articles properly. Some of them make ridiculous assertions which are hard to believe. Unfortunately, some people are easily taken in and in the long run get misinformed and confused. So rather than help it becomes a liability.

I don't think in Ghana's case we should read too much into who wears the No 10 jersey. It should not be the exclusive preserve of one player. Last time out Solomon Asante wore No 10 when he came on as a substitute in the friendly against Cape Verde. And I will not be surprised if he gets the nod again to avoid contentions amongst those who think wearing the No 10 makes you the super star of the team. What I hope is that whoever wears it, be it Atsu, Asamoah, Clottey or Boakye, can help Ghana to hit dizzy heights. Greetings and Happy New Year to you.

He was loaned to Rio Alves last year but was recalled by Porto because of his breathtaking performances. And you are also ignorant saying he is a benchwarmer. The Port coach is sensible, he doesn't want to overuse him so he comes on mostly in the second half of Porto's matches and immediately impresses. Atsu scored on his debut for the Black Stars when he came on against Lesotho. He scored again in his first full game against Malawi. He is a wonderful talent. Shame you are so ignorant.
