Overall an excellent performance. Mubarak was wonderful. Agyemang Badu was awesome (He actually had a second header that I think crossed the line but we have to wait for goal line technology). Adomah is fast and was strong down the right side. No one was bad. Atsu was played out of position as a defensive midfielder so he was not the flashy guy from previous games. Generally, I would say that this is an example of the fact that names do not win games, players who are HUNGRY AND HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE ARE THE KEY.

When we played China and some of else said good job you were up in arms finding anything to nail the man. A win is a win. FC Bayern Munich out played and out smart Chelsea by the end of 120 minute who became the European Champions. I have constructive thinking and have no hidden agenda.

First of all, you tend to read my comments wrongly. Where did I mention the coach's confidence? Please go back to my comments and read them again. In case you missed it, I haven't been mentioning the coach's confidence by mine in him. Do you understand now, Mr. N? I don't have full confidence in the coach doesn't mean you shouldn't or the coach shouldn't have confidence in himself. Do you get that? Please know how you could distinguish between the two. Thank you!

Who told you we won that match? August 15th, 2012, Ghana vs. China ended up 1-1, go and double check for you need help when it comes to facts. Do you know what happened in that game? The coach was standing at a corner in the reserve players booth and wasn't showing any action indicating he was directing the players to win that game. We were down by one through an unfortunate penalty, but came back to equalize it. After our goal, our players relaxed as if they were winning.

Besides, my first comment was "Our Black Stars were not that strong." Go back and check and stop that thing you always doing in here. Find someone who cares not about facts to play that game with, not me. The team didn't play well that day and yes, I said it, the TEAM including the coach. Therefore don't tell me I find everything wrong with the coach. If I don't have confidence in the coach, it is up to me to access the coach and begin to trust him. If that test I set for the coach in order for me to trust his leadership has not been accomplished, do you want me to force myself to have confidence in him? It doesn't work like that.

You having confidence in him shouldn't change mine in him. Do You Get That? for you to learn to respect views about MRAA.

Even though this is not the top-notch Egyptian team we played in the 2010 AFCON final I am optimistic for several reasons: 1) Selection criteria has improved 2) The margin of victory over Egypt 3:0 is expected for a weakened Egypt that recently went through a revolution that has affected its football.
3) The Black Stars took their chances in front of goal through beautiful assists. 4) This is a new team seeking a workable rhythm, yet they came out with an impressive win. 10 of the players are new to AFCON so to me today's performance is a good sign. TUNISIA will be the actual test, because they also qualified for AFCON, and they will be testing their team. There is no need to turn the Tunisian game into a slugfest. The best strategy is to contain them through possession and make them do the running. Getting physical with them will be a disaster, we should not forget what they did to us in 2012 AFCON.

Yes I agree but "s3 agoro beosoaa....." I have followed the U17 and U20 National Teams pre-tournament matches and where they have had free scoring ability has led them to win the African and World cups in 1991,95..& 2009.

Egypt though was giving out the ball so quick and couldn't handle our midfield during the second half. In the first half, for a moment in the second part of the 1st half, I thought they were going to do well. Then in the 2nd half, I didn't see them at all. Ghana tightened both the midfield and the defense.

Oh Derreck Boateng's lack of playing time in club level is having effect on him. He is really rusted and it is obvious. Hopefully he could gain his sharpness before the real tournament begins.

To all the players, one touch accurate passes will benefit us a lot.

Sometimes it is sad when players are not able to adjust to other players during the course of the game. We sometimes expect these chaps to be a tad more intelligent than they really are.

If their dribbles were intercepted, then we'd also be complaining that they're selfish, that they should have released the ball quickly, so A, B or C should have been dropped.

Everything they do, we say they should have done the opposite.

Bottom Line: We won.
That's it.
No complaints.
There's no assurance that they'd have benefited more.

No matter how difficult Tunisian will be on Sunday, the Black Stars should try as much as possible not to concede. There were too many unforced errors in today's match with Egypt. That can be fixed through passing the ball early or faster in order to keep possession. Loosing the ball under pressure is a bad sign of nervousness and can result in more pressure and tiredness. An excellent passing game can frustrate your opponent and wear them down. Nothing should be left to chance including the practice of set pieces, penalty kicks, corner kicks, free kicks etc BRAVO! and get some good rest!
