I watched both games and South Africa was not impressive at all. As a matter of fact, of the four teams, Cape Verde seems like the best team in the group.

There are players like Erasmus( Supersport ) and Dane Klate( Pirates ) that will do a much better job. For the next game, Gordon should start with Both Thulani Serero, and Furman in the middle of the park.

My opinion in general is, the african football is
stagnating for some time now. Empty stadium everywhere and cero goal in the opening day.

The old horses like Drogba and co.are on good bye tour this year. Depressing are the referees, light off all over. You see no playing system and modern football tactics. Dark football continent.
Cote d'Ivoire is my favorite despite of playing with 11 strikers a. midfielders.
BS without the Ayews a. Kevin Prince B. no power at all. Only goalking waiting for penalty.

They may be good but will need to play as a team.
