Coach you were right there and couldn't tell the boys not to be so casual about the game. Too many chances to score several goals were wasted. Were the boys lacking motivation. I didn't see any seriousness in our striker Asamoah Gyan.

Playing Kwadwo Asamoah and Christian Atsu in wrong position caused them not to shine. Return them to their position of comfort to get the best out of them.

The midfield didn't work well at all. When we were 2 goals up why didn't you beef up the midfield to strengthen the defence? John Boye and Jonathan Mensah should play in central midfield in the next game because they understand each other best. You did not deliver in our first match coach but I seriously think the team was briliant except you fail to deliver tactically.

The game was not varried to reflect coaching response to the proceedings. The boys played virtually the same type of game without responding to threats from the other side. When we were 2 goals up why didn't they slow the pace of the game in order to have better control of the game and dictate the pace of the game the Barcelona and Manchester United way because we were up and were supposed to be frustrating them but we gave them all the room to come at us. The boys were good but you the coach was poor. SHAME!!!

Tell the boys the days of slow starting of matches are over. This is the tournament for God's sake not a friendly match. For the first 15 to 30 minutes the stars could not just get well into the game and their casual unserious approach made a lot of us angry. Were they not motivated and psyched for the match. What a dissapointment of a coach you are. Were some issues behind the scene troubling the stars? Ghanaman will always ask for more money and that we are very aware of.

It was a dissapointing technical performance. I think the boys are good but they are failing to show the world how they can put their talents together to win a match. I am not sure they are the favourites people think they are. Lackadaisical attitude displayed in attack and during the start of the game makes me wonder if the stars are really hungry for the trophy. Pathetic!!!!!!

When u analyse the game properly, you would notice Chritian Atsu, Albert Adomah and Wakaso were poor and could not gel in the midfield with Badu and Derek. My boy K Asamoamoah was played out of his comfort zone. Ghana is not Juventus as he plays as a wind back and very effective there because he always have great players like pirlo etc to bring him into play. Adomah is not blackstars quality. Kepper was very attentive and good, defence was poor.

It is about time he leaves that to the players. Kwedwo Asamoah, Appiah is saying is a utility player, is not true because Kwedwo Asamoah can't play the right full back position and also the right wing position. Therefore, how could he become a utility player? Kwedwo doesn`t even know how to tackle so could he be classified as a utility player?

The players relaxed in the game thery were leading by two goals. When the changes were made an unfit player was used to substitute a fit but tired player. When he recognized that Derrick was tired, Wakaso could have been dropped to the number 6 position and could have been able to support a real left full back player positioned there # 3, since he can play either 3 or 6 position. Kwedwo should be moved to his confortable position to support the striker and Atsu who could play the left wing effevtively. Leave the defenders to play their positions and allow the midfielders to play their position too.

We could still win this tournament because so far, all the teams peformances don't have any extraordinary strategies to them. Unless they too didn´t perform well as we did not.

My advice to him is that it cant help his coaching cause. To my surprise he has his favorites in the team like Harrison Afful who is a nonentity when it comes to quality players. The coach is a slow poison as I can see from afar that he terribly hate the Ayew family but he is not God. God forgive the coach for his revenge on an issue of twenty (20) years ago. His refusal to call Quincy Owusu Abeyie will show big time just like the previous tourney. People screaming for KA to be moved to the midfield area must not watch any Juve games. This position brings the best of out KA because there is less attention on him at all times. Play DBOAT in the AM role and move atsu to the right mid/wing position( let him sub in for adomah or vice versa). Throwing that boy in that position in his AFCON debut was a huge mistake. Even a toddler wld know this. To get past Mali Atsu and KA are going to be our strongest links due to the jitteryness and ability to take defenders on. Playing a very physical game vs Mali would be very hard for our guys so simple passing and using the flanks should be our go to option. As far as defense someone needs to tell Paintsil to be calm on the ball and stop ballooning the ball up whenever he gets it. knock the ball around and find open guys not those high balls that he kept sending in. Akaminko was simply nervous and you could tell. He's another guy that needed to be eased in slowly. Ghana has the personnel to get the job done but it seems like the job always falls into the wrong hands. With all these fire-power/household names that we have, we got these incompetent coaches wasting our freaking time.

However, in technical terms, the coach is blameable since he has identified the lackluster performance of the GBS as due to "tactical Indiscipline" on the part of the players.

Suffice it to say, if the coach have accepted the performance as 'tactical indiscipline, my reservation is that his substitution-methods were suspicious.

Whilst 'Tactical Indiscipline' takes its root from the coach, 'Loss of focus' is laid at the footstep of the players.

To me therefore, the coach fell short in his deliberations. His actions helped players not too smart.

Where do we lay the blame?

Our conscious visit to the drawing board is very vital at this point before our encounter with Mali, else "basabasa besi".

What ever tactics the team had didn't show so there was no tactics, OK. It seems the team is counting on set pieces so the players forget tackling and ball possession. Also, what are Pantsil, Gyan and Boateng doing? Pantsil can't tackle or initiate attack. He could not connect with the midfield and the right winger, not once. Gyan is slow and uncomposed. It is shocking that Gyan, a "top striker", can only shoot with his inside foot and can't anticipate and recover a pass placed behind him infront of goal. It seems Boateng was the defensive midfielder but the central midfielder at the same time and he failed at both. These three players confused the other players, like Astu and Wakaso who need to possess the ball. The coach should give the team a simple tactic, one that fit the players he selects next time. Ball possession and tackling should be improved because it put the opponent under pressure and create scoring and set piece opportunites the team is looking for.

Kwadwo Asamoah is a mid-fielder so far as Juventus FC is concerned. He tried his best at left back. This is a guy who joins his team strikers (at Juventus) to score goal. It seems Mr Head Coach you could not read the game.

Good luck to you and the boys. It is a must to win the next game, if not the Blackstars are out of the tournament.

Some Ghanaians thought Ghana was a world class Team that could beat any team any day. This is wrong. On our radio station in lagos today, some callers have started predicting that Nigeria will defat Burkina faso by 5-0; what a show of arrogance. Ivory coast is seen as winners of afcon 22013 even before they kick the ball. this is arrogance. Ghanaians, Nigerians, ivorians should know that the Teams they have been under-rating will be the ones that will bundle them out. Some people are vblaming AA for playing 2-2 with DRC but they failed to note that DRC could have won as they were the better Team. Even if you had included the ayew brothers. African football is changing and we will see soon(afcon and world cup qualifiers).To me AA is a good coach even if some Ghanaians would want to disagree with me: he needs more time .
