What about Kwadman being used as #2 instead of #10? I'm still troubled about that but hey, what can I do, the coach & his technical team knows best.

We need to step up a bit like the recent friendly matches.

The coach will chastise the player and sent his ass back on the field. We do the same to our kids when they fail in school. Nothing new. The funs deserve reward for their time and money, OK.

The game plan, tactics as coach Appiah calls it, should be very simple. The modern tactic where the right and left fullbacks are part of the attack should be dropped because we don’t have the right players for that now. Pintsil can’t defend much more attacking. When K. Asamoah joined the attack, the midfielders could not cover for him and therefore put pressure on the left central defender, Akaminko. Boateng was the defensive and central midfielder at the same time and got tired. Astu and Wakaso got confused and lost because K. Asamoah was supposed to be part of the attack part time. The game plan took out of the game. The right winger, Adomah was also out of the game because he was not fed any balls and was not dropping back. Gyan was awful as usual and should be on the bench period. In short, the team was a complete mess and very lucky for not losing the match. The Congolese were simply not a good team. I do believe the Black Stars have enough pieces in place but the coach needs to put them together masterfully and carefully. The key is simplicity since the team is totally new. Defenders should be defenders, 4 of them. There should be dedicated midfielders (1 defensive, 1 central and 1 attacking). 2 wingers and 1 striker will be necessary. The wingers should be attacking and dropping back as needed. I would not select Pantsil and be limiting Gyan’s playing time if I were the coach. I would definitely not play K. Asamoah as a defender because that creates chaos for the team.
