Now, I'm saying that the quarter-final is a piece of cake! I'm only thinking of the semis. Any challenger?
Ooochhh, an insect just bit me, telling me that Ghana - Mali in the final. That one, nkor? Is that possible?
That will be Rasheed's obituary, abi?

We do not expect to receive 'bodybags' from SA either.
We need you and your men to stop the 30 year famine.
Else, you will have me, the chiefwhip to contend with.

Gyan will always polarize fans because he is too good to leave out of the team but not good enough to be a fans favorite at all times. I have been studying his play for some time. He has some incredible strengths and weaknesses. If he decides to really work on his weaknesses thru off season to become the complete package he would become one fearsome striker. His major strength is taking on defences, he has to has a rhythym on the ball to score. His weakness is his inability to go from potential to kinetic energy in a micro time frame hence his shot placement from a standing position are mostly weak. Thats why when it appears the goal has been cooked for him he finishes below par. But Gyan is a fantastic talent and a genuine threat to the defense. Coaches like players like that. No coach will leave him out because when he has the rhythym he will score. It is not surprising because outside soccer he is a muscian who like to dance. People critisize his dancing on the pitch. But what they don't know is when he stops dancing he probably won't be as good as he is right now. Gyan has to dance, he has to keep his rhythym. All he has to work on is learning to score when he doesn't have enough time to generate a rhythym. He still has the potential to be one of Ghana's best strikers of all time!

We all know he has talent. The Premier league was about to transform him into a scoring arsenal but he left to a weaker league. Your observations are right on his shooting inability from a stagnant position with little momentum. He needs to build his thigh muscles without damaging the ligaments and tendon around the knee. Also sometimes in stagnant positions he should PASS the ball by doing a one-two with another player, that would give him the needed acceleration for a shot at goal. Gyan should watch Suarez our 2010 WC downer score many goals doing one-twos, often with his back facing the post.

So far so good baby Jet. Considering his current performance , lets embrace his optimisms and stop criticizing , it would lead us no where.

NEVER AGAIN insult ALL the SPECTATORS with finger signs or in any other way because some FEW FANS have made annoying remarks about you and have even insulted you. If you can, do apologize to the Good Spectators and Good viewers. Those fans who insulted you can not be more than 1,000. But your admirers are in tens of millions.
Give Glory to God, Honour Your late Beloved Mother, (indeed Parents); Honour also the President and all the good people of Ghana, as well as all Your Loved ones and sympathizers all over the World. Honour and show magnanimity at all times.
Indeed, and I strongly believe that many of your critics have made a U-Turn. Many critics spontaneously hailed and cheered you when you scored the first goal, and did so again for the 2nd & 3rd Goals. God Bless you. May God grant you strength, wisdom and focus to repeat this feat again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again,................

Gyan , do not even the younger, fresher and upcoming stars of Ghana football just becuase you have not found your fomr yet, I say so becos Atsu has been named the man of match despite you and him scored one goal each, obviously there is a strong reason to start denying him scoring chances to thwart his possible many adorations but that would only destroy our main goal- winning the trophy.
