Take the 2010 world cup for example where Ghana was the only African nation to qualify past the group stage. Cote d'ivoire have individual stars, but they do not play as a team.

On the other hand, you could argue that other teams such as Mali and Burkina Faso are better than us. Unfortunately, Ghana has a big reputation which seems to overshadow these countries. The rankings should not be based on reputation, but it is a fact of life that when you think about football, you will think of Ghana before you think of Burkina Faso.

Nigeria is also good, but they are too full of shit! Ghana usually beats them at tournaments as well, so it is right that we rank above them.

We have won more games than we have lost under his leadership. We have also moved up in the Fifa and Africa rankings. The coach is not that bad so keep him.

Sometimes they grab the jerseys of strikers who also take dives to create penalty shots. If a player does a little skillful playing then he is declared by the press as a great player comparable to Pele or Maradonna. Gone are the days of attacking football. The death of beautiful football started in the 1980s when German, Spanish and Italian teams started playing Rope-A-Dope grinding and ruthlessly boring soccer. The coaches from South America could not figure out the strategy to outwit this style. In particular Tele Santana's 1982 Brazillian team of Zico, Socrates, Cerezo, Eder, Isidoro, Falcao and Sengihno were eliminated by the boring Italians. So every team in the world begun this boring style. Even the glorious creative Africans , under foreign coaches fall victim to this style. It two opposing teams play such a style it could be really boring indeed to watch. On the other hand the women's soccer is taking wonderful strides. Their game is great to watch. Most people are worried about Ghana soccer. Take a look at Brazil. With all their emerging super stars their world ranking has fallen low and very low and almost the same as that of Ghana. What is the fundamental problem? It is the commercialization of soccer. Greedy clubs buy young and great talents from all over the world and rob them of their propper development ang grooming in domestic leagues at home. After a few years these young players are sold and resold to other teams and eventually they are drained emotionally and cannot play and become bench-warmers. A few players make it big abroad but when they are called home to play for their country they adopt the safety first attitude. The other players abroad are worked like horses by playing them to exhaustion in too many games until they get injured or burn out. The countries of the world must find a way to keep young tallent at home until they mature. In particular the old great players must be called to assist the coach by teaching the players the lost art of shooting, dribbling, ball-control, passing and how to play if team is down in a game. Coach Appiah, in AFCON 2013 could not know which position to play Kwadwo Asamoah. How cold a coach bring players to a tournament and did not know what to do with them? The French coach for 2006 World Cup and the Serbian Milo guy and Silas Tetteh were better than the rest of recent Ghana coaches. Something has to be done to save Ghana and World soccer now.

My plea to the GFA is to stop the politics concerning who the Ghana Black Stars coach should be at this moment after AFCON. My suggestions are: 1) to go for MILO, 2) send Akwasi Appiah for a coaching course and 3) keep KONADU as the Assistant coach of MILO.
Akwasi Appiah had been given this opportunity for 11years; is time for him to move on, for Konadu to have this chance to enhance his success as a coach, with compliments to what he achieved with with Ashanti Kotoko.
Milo given the chance once more, would be a wise thing to do now; he knows the Ghanaian style of play, and with players now at hand, one would think with the little twist, our team can be well equipped to face any team for the WC.
