He is also clever at play when complemented by Albert Nyarko.

It is true the BS AFCON 2013 team lacked adequate quality contrary to what we were made to believe. Luckily for us, we have the quality players to depend on. It is a must for us to call John Mensah, Sulley Muntari and the Ayew’s, Dede and Jordan. We also have this top striker Majeed Waris to call – we need to give him the chance. If Prince Kelvin Boateng can be made to change his mind, that will be fantastic because his quality is top class.
Looking for quality materials locally cannot help unless our aim is to just participate and not win laurels. Take players like Solomon Asante and Emmanuel Clottey for instance, these are novices who have been overhyped to look like superstars. The main reason why we don’t have great players in our local league is that, as soon as a player appears to be coming into limelight, he goes out for greener pastures. Some of the greener pastures are even ridiculous. For instance how can a player from the Ghanaian league go to DR Congo or Tanzania for greener pastures? It shows that there is even no sense of strategy at all in going out for greener pastures. Going for a European greener pasture is strategic because, there, they have good facilities and excellent managers that can help you develop your talents.
We have to be serious and call a spade a spade if we want Black Stars to win laurels.
