WOW! This is very strange and funny. Just because one's brother was dropped from selection, the other brother also did everything possible to get himself dropped from team selection too.
Look, no player is 100% guaranteed to be selected all the time until he stops playing football or his carrier is over.
Team selection is based on qualities, skills, talents, behavior, spirit and the know-how of each player of that particular period of football season.
NO player has a total guarantee for selection to the national team the Black Stars.
IF SELECTIONS ARE GUARANTEE, THEN, I WILL SUGGEST THAT THOSE PLAYERS WHO WERE DROPPED FROM SELECTION should also submit their temporary resignation letters to GFA as well.
THIS is exactly what happens when the FA do not give out DEFINITELY SUSPENSIONS to players who misbehaves to the FA and to the country as well.
DIP DOWN DEEP INTO THIS WHOLE ISSUE and you will find out that there was NO RESPECT IN THERE, but I WANT IT MY WAY ONLY WHICH WAS THERE.
THE whole thing started because of haters of the coach. Players challenging his decisions and so on.
GFA, you guys need to TAKE VERY STRONG decisions to bring OUT PROPER DISCIPLINE. And do not forget those making BAD comments against the FA. Do not involve them in anything.

It was clear Dede misbehaved on the field "camera no lie" but go back and read his appology. "They said I should apologise so I'm sorry". When he was asked to report to camp in Dubai what did he do? Don't back them blindly. What he did was wrong and he has to correct it but not to write these stupid resignation letters. After all what the hell does he think he's accomplished in the senior national team. Out of 43 matches he's scored 4 is that impressive enough? He's definately a good addition to the squad but that doesn'tmean he should puff up, come on. As for Jordan's letter, that's even stupid but I know you'll back him too. Train your kids like that and see the kind of leaders you'll present to the world in future.

If the coach has the right not to invite them when he chooses, then they certainly have the right to take a leave of absence when they so choose. Like all other professions, footballers have labour rights too. They can't be forced to play if they don't want to. The GFA needs to learn to cultivate trusting and respectful relationships with players. After all, the players are not the GFA's servants.

The boys are good but not indispensable.
I could only agree the fact that they are professionals are seasonal. They enter into their prime and become dangerous as they ply their business.
The Ayew boys I believe, are in their prime now and this is the time to get them. But for their nagging issues, what do we do other than to let then have their way.

This is the time GFA should step up with strict disciplinary actions to vaporize this habit. The Ayews should be allowed to take off. I wish the GFA would have the balls to do it but it not going to happen. The core of all our problems are management we pick and choose the touchable and untouchable. Fabio Capello quit his job because the English FA had overruled him this would not happen in Ghana. A coach has to submit his players selection to GFA for what. Do you think an English player would quit and they would allow him back to the 3 Lions no way hell on the other hand you not also hear or a rumor that an English FA member had said that he does not want to see two players in a team. When Richard Kingston openly said that some member of GFA do not want to see him back in the Black Stars nothing was done about it England, Canada, USA or Germany would get to the bottom of the issue. Stephen Appiah had said there are issues and Essien had confirm via is spokesman on national TV. KN should give up the chairmanship of the Black Stars management team bring people like Tony Baffour, Tony Yeboah Osei Kuffour and Stephen Appiah just to name a few to the Black Stars management team they have played at the highest level. I would do business or feel comfortable handing my business to you, KojoLee The Stallion POW and Prof S'Berta for simple reason that you have lived in an Environment and have developed what to take to get up in the morning. 99% of GFA members had not played the game or manage it at the highest level.

Like you said, he will come out and criticize but wouldn't offer a single solution. Some times I ask my self is it because Nyaho wasn't allowed to complete his good work at office? Would this be the reason of Nyaho's constant criticism without solution? He tends to dent the good works of others in office. It is about time he grows up. The past is gone. Those who didn't want him in office at the time of his regime are not among the current GFA executives. Therefore, he needs to let it go for his actions are becoming a little apparent of his intentions. If he doesn't have anything good to say, he should stay far from criticizing.

I do agree with Dr Nyaho. The point he is making could be missed easily by little minds. If I understand him correctly, he is merely calling for a thorough examination of the state of soccer management in Ghana, especially at the national level if we hope to reap any meaningful results from the massive investments being put in. Soccer players like any other Ghanaians have the right to decline invitation into the black stars. Soccer is not war and for that matter has nothing to do with national security which mandates footballers to respond at anytime. Playing to win require total body, mind and soul, and for that matter if one decides that he or she is not physically, mentally or psychologically ready to serve they should be understood. Name calling is would not solve the problem. The excuse given by the Ayews, and for that matter any other player, as vague as it seems, should be viewed and examined within the context of the present state of affairs at the GFA. If we assume that the Ayews are wrong, then what about KPB, Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan and many others who chose exemptions in the past. GFA management is a mess, the black stars management is a mess, and our culture and attitude towards professional soccer players are foolish, disrespectful, and childish to say the least. Until we are ready and able to look in the mirror to honestly see these issues and address them we should not expect any other results. The Ayew brothers are right in their requests and Dr Nyaho is right.

I can't believe that I am saying this but we can't just carry on as normal. I never hear of players taking retirement in the England squad but it seems to be the norm with the Black Stars. It creates instability. From my observation, the GFA does not seem to be able to handle players from the diaspora as we are more questioning than a locally raised Ghanaian. When you ask a typical Ghanaian to jump, they will ask how high. If you ask one who has been born and raised abroad to jump, they will ask why! Ghanaians can't handle this and that is why we keep losing good players. Let us not bury our heads in the sand but to do some inner searching of what is going on!

A combined 6 goals in 53 matches! The assists may also count, but they barely come. They play in France! We are not talking about playing in England, Germany, Spain or Italy. If they were so good, they would be playing for the big teams; they are not as good as they think.
Their actions only demonstrate how immature they are. I am not sure they should be called back into the team again. Look at what Asamoah Gyan did! He knew he was going to be found out in England, so he took the easy path and went to the Middle East. Since he's been back, can anyone justify the energy and time put into getting him back?
For those not old enough to remember, Opoku Afriyie's exclusion from Kotoko resulted in Kotoko winning the African Cup. Opoku Afriyie was the best player in the team. This is talking about players like Carr, Appiah, Papa Arko, Kofi Badu, Asaase, Kumi, Opoku Nti, Kyenkyenhene, Ampadu, Haruna, etc.; Ayew brothers would not even be on the reserves of this team. Yet, the best player, Opoku Afriyie, was not put on the bench, but expelled from the team for the sake of unity.
I went to regional games with the Northern Region team and a lot of the Kotoko team during their dad’s time, yet none of these players, who were light years ahead of these Ayew brothers, exhibited the kind of arrogance these brothers are displaying. Take the money out and these Gyans, Essiens, Boatengs and Ayews would dare not exhibit this kind of arrogance and disrespect. What has happened to these players that has not happened to Muntari? Say what you want about Muntari, but he is head and shoulders above these spoiled brats, in my book. And in my book, the Ayew brothers should not be called back into the team.

FORMER GERMAN FA HEAD WAS A LAWYER.HE HAS BEEN IN CHARGE SINCE 2009. HE STEPPED DOWN IN MARCH 2012 FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER.
THE GFA HEAD JOB WASNT CREATED FOR NYANTAKYI ALONE. IF DR. NYAHO HADNT AGREED TO LEAVE, HE NYANTAKYI NEVER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A CHANCE.
ask him whether Ghana paid any money for the camping in abu dahbi before the afcon?
he told a Ghanaian Journalist at the OLIVER Tambo airport in SA about how HE NYANTAKYI influenced the referee in the Burkina game with
50,000 dollars. ask him why his name changed from nyantayi to nana nimo the sponsorship deals involving the FA?
ask how much HE NYANTAKYI INSTEAD OF GH, has benefited from all friendly games since he became president?
ask him why after years of dedication and commitment to his cause, he showed randy abbey and fred pappoe the red in his second term?
finally ask how well he believes and trust God the father and creator and whether he has never visited any lesser God.
JUJU N PRIMITIVE THINGS NKOAA
ONE GUY NYANTAKYI HAS A JOB WITH FIFA. HAS A JOB WITH CAF. WAFU EXECUTIVE MEMBER. WA ALLSTARS OWNER. GBSTAR MANAGMNT CMTTEE HEAD.
GFA HEADEE.GFA DISCIPLINARY CMTTEE HEAD. AABA, ADEN?1 MAN THOUSAND PAA? SO U MEAN TO TELL ME WE HAVE NO COMPETENT MEN/WOMEN
IN GH WHO CANT ASSUME SOME OF THESE POSITIONS? NYANTAKYI IS A GREEDY COMMUNIST!
THE MIN OF SPORTS, PRES. MAHAMA NEED TO CONTACT FIFAAND GET NYANTAKYI REMOVED. HE HAS OVERSTAYED HIS WELCOME. PRESIDENTS EVEN HAVE A
MANDATE OF 8YRS. HOW LONG HAS NYANTAKYI BEEN THERE AS GFA HEAD? ARE U GOD?
HE WANTS TO BE THERE FOREVER. NO, HE MUST GO, NOW!
We were beaten by Zambia, Liberia, Burkina Faso and Mali. Is that not enough evidence that Akwasi Appiah is not capable in handling the team?
Are we waiting for another humiliation before decision? APPIAH SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED AFTER HE COACHED GH TO A DRAW AGAINST SUDAN IN KUMASI.
HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED RIGHT AFTER THAT GAME. CALL UPS TO GBSTAR IS A BUSINESS.
If the GFA does not call you up, how can you play for the national team? They select their favorites and take money from the.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS NYANATKYI, THE GFA N AKWASI APPIAH ENGAGE IN. HOW CAN THIS HELP GBSTARS?
THIS SORT OF FOOLISHNESS DOES NOT GO ON IN BRAZIL, SPAIN, GERMANY, FRANCE. THEREFORE, WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

Don't beg Abedi Sons to come and play for the Black Stars, they are not good players. They are not fit for perpose.
Are those two boys untouchable? Can't Ghana do without them? Don't let us idolize them because they are bluffs. There are better and more serious players waiting for their turn, so why don't we try them as well.
The other players are there to have their chances on the national team, why depend upon one or two players,Ghana,GFA,BS are bigger than any individual player and the management committee itself.
WHO ARE THEY ANYWAY? PEOPLE ARE PLAYING MILAN ,MAN U,MADRID BUT ALWAYS RUSH TO PLAY 4 THEIR NATIONS.THEY ARE JXT USING THESE SO THAT WE WILL RUSH FOR THEM.WHY DID THEY NOT RETIRE PERMANENTLY? LET THEM GO,WHO CARES?
FOUR GOALS IN 43 APPEARANCES - PLEASE GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. THEY ARE NOT BIGGER THAN THE COUNTRY GHANA. REMEMBER, THEY WERE IN THE 2012 TEAM AND DID NOT FAIR ANY BETTER THAN THE 2013 TEAM. IN 2012 THEY EVEN LOST A GAME IN ...

Well said my friend. Its a free country and they have every to accept or reject an offer... if they can show emotional cause for their decision.
Then the coach has a right not to call them ever again.
Do you consider scoring 4 goals in 40 games an achievement?
I doubt it.
Goals scoring must be consistent and must be earned at any least opportunity.
Ever heard of one player scoring 23 goals in as much as ten or more game ...
