  The story addressed him as the head coach right from the begining. However, the reason for using "was" in paragraph 2 still beats my immagination. That portion could've read "Appiah, who led the B/Stars in the last African cup" bla bla bla. Isn't it strange that even Super O.D who never stepped foot in school knows better and he's sueing Adom TV for falsifying his death?

  The "was" was used because the writer was referring to the past 2013 Afcon. Maybe by using "was" would make Mr. AA a history.

Please appreciate and learn from every constructive criticism, it might build you up and make you a better coach; I believe some have genuine love and concern. For negative or destructive criticism don't bother or allow to derogating you. For the position you occupy, be sure you will always receive both. As long as you remain our coach, you will have our support and prayers, at least some of us. May God help you, our Black stars and country Ghana.
