My question is IS THIS REALLY A FUNERAL? OR JUST A PARTY FOR BABY JET TO SHOW OFF WHOM HE CAN PULL OUT OF OF GHANA BASE ON HIS STATUS? The reason why am asking is that Baby Jet was not the first person in black stars to have his beloved mother or father passed on. Why are all these dignitaries and celebrities being invited to the so call funeral of his beloved mother. Listen my people, Baby Jet is not the only black star player, nor is he above all the other players so why should our politician pay much respect to his deceased mother over the others like Anthony Annan and John Boye. Did we hear abouth those two parents funeral? so how come Gyan case is been highlighted. I mean my sympathy to Gyan and his family for the lost but all this could have been avoided to make it look like a PARTY FOR THE POLITICIANS AND THE FAMOUS IN GHANA. MAY BE THESE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS WHY OUR YOUNG PLAYERS RETIRE EARLY FROM BLACK STARS CAUSE THEY FEEL SOME PLAYERS ARE GETTING ATTENTION MORE THEN THEM. HEY JUST SAYING

Can all these Politicians explain to Annan and Boye why they did not attend their parents funerals? This is the kind of special treatments mete out to others when others are denied that brings conflict and divisions in Blackstars.

Do you remember when Ghanaians cursed and even threatened to kill Asamoa Gyan and family members before the 2008 AFCON in Ghana, it was President Kuffour who stepped to the side of the player and counseled him to play for the nation, when the going was very tough for the player. I believe in so doing the ex-President established a bond with the player that could be the reason for him to attend the funeral of the innocent mum whose life was threatened because her son played for the national team. I am sure that the nation as a whole did something for the passing of the parents of Annan and Boye. But remmeber that funerals in Ghana are about relationships, nothing more than that.
