If you are indeed an Akan and not a grandfathered one by virtue of conquest, then respect yourself as one. Well meaning Akans have moved well past the stereotypes that were the order of the day back then. If you must know, Akans along with other Africans are seriously engaged in menial jobs abroad. Proceeds from such jobs is what funds a lot of the construction activities and remittances people live off back home.

All I want to say is that we are all born great, but one's immediate circumstance of birth or upbringing has a direct effect on your chances of realizing greatness. Abedi, though born not of privilege, was able to make himself great in the annals of soccer, thus adding to Ghana's great reputation in soccer, so please do not look at him that way.

The issue between his disrespectful son who sees himself above the blackstar management and the rest of the playing body is nothing but rediculous and cause of disrruption to the entire team if we the discerning and focused people were to pay attention to it.What is the substance of the issue? Its all about Dede Ayew not complying to the rules and regulations abiding all the players and disrespecting the managers instructions and directives given to him. Therefore he must face the peanalty which resulted in leaving him out among the 21 good selected players for the tournament period. Oh yes, I was disappointed since Abedi couldn't say a word in this issue. I have been asking where was Abedi when all these mess are roaming in the air? If it was some other players" case, he would have appeared and have offered solutions. Since the issue is involved with his children, we heard nothing from him.

As a legend, I was expecting him to come out with a good solution toward this issue. At least, controlling his two brats would have done the job to begin with.

Anyway, all is over now and I'm sure when an issue arises, Abedi wouldn't come and offer any solution since when it comes to his children he has nothing to offer.

I have been to their two house coumpound at East Legon three times and met the Ayew boys before they becaqme famous playing. At that time, they still were precocious boys and said things about Asantes that were not nice to be repeated in this forum.

They said things about Samuel Osei Kuffour when they learned I was related to him and started talking about Kumasi Burgers.I just hate dropping names but their mother's friend too is my Niece both staying at East Legon.

This is a public forum and I don't want to reveal many things for somebody to add one to one and get to know Who I am. My Niece and Maha their mother are that close THEY SHOP FOR EACH OTHER WHEN THEY TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY.

I don't hate the Ayews at all but the boys need to be grounded in their utterances or they will destroy their careers before they reach their peak. Playing for the same team is not doing good to their careers. Sometimes you have to take people away from their comfort level before they can thrive. Dede alone in Blackstars is a terrific Player and a humble guy but put him together with Jordan and it is like Water and oil.

They are just 23 and 21, it is not too late for them to change their attitudes and become the great Players they have the potential of being but they need discipline and humility and I wonder where they got their attitude from because their beautiful mother Maha respects everybody and a nice lady to know. Maybe their father might be the problem.

Folks: In case nobody is paying attention, there is a dark cloud gathering over Ghana soccer, and if we do not do anything very soon, we will go the same way as Cameroon. All the signs are there.
You can have all the talents in the world (E'too and co). You can even conquer the world by winning Olympics gold; get to World Cup quarterfinals; can even have the best local coach around. However, if there is political discourse in which everything a coach does--whether good or bad-- is viewed in some quarters as discriminatory or underhanded, then we will end up in obscurity, just like Cameroon, which was once a soccer powerhouse, but now nobody remember them.
Ghana is a divisive nation and the only thing that keeps us together is the Black Stars. However, if the Black Stars itself has become a source of division, then it does not worth having a local coach. It is better to invest in a foreign coach to keep us united. It is worth all the money to save us from ourselves.

Those reasons given at the time are still fresh in the minds of many today. Abedi cared less and displayed his high sense of entitlement and power-hungry. Since Abedi feels his kids must be treated differently as he wanted during his days and Kwasi Appiah hates that, it`ll be wise to let Abedi stay away from the management of the national team and his children left alone forever. Abedi and Kwasi Appiah are all lying here and appear to lack the balls to tell it like it is whilst Ghana football remain chaotic.

A Televangelist a Rabbi and a Hindu holy man, had car trouble in the countryside and asked to spend the night with a farmer. The farmer said: "There might be a problem; you see, I only have room for two to sleep, so one of you must sleep in the barn."

"No problem," chimed the Rabbi, "My people wandered in the desert for forty years, I am humble enough to sleep in the barn for an evening." With that he departed to the barn and the others bedded down for the night. Moments later a knock was heard at the door; the farmer opened the door, there stood the Rabbi from the barn. Well, that leaves only the Televangelist to make the change. He grumbled and complained, but went out to the barn. Yep, you guessed it! Moments later there was another knock on the farmers door. Frustrated and tired, the farmer opens the door, and there stood the pig and the cow.

Appiah is the Televangelist who has nothing to do with the two different faith on the farm.
He was sleeping there temporarily but finally caught up with these characters.
Abedi Pele is the farmer who has his animals,now he can do what he wants to do with it.
The Coach wanted his son Ayew to be Physically strong to play for the National team due to his shoulder injury.
Sadly his son took it in the wrong way thinking that the Coach was trying to get rid of him from the team.
what will the Ghanaian Public say if he was injured again?
The former coach made an error by fielding Micheal Essien when he was not properly healed and he ended up with more injuries.

This is because we are a nation of some 24 million people and it should not be difficult to select 11 or 23 young men to represent us in soccer tournaments. Whoever thinks he deserves to be selected and was not selected should not be an issue; and if for that matter he decides to signal that he is not available for selection in future,which may or may not happen,why should we waste our time and energy debating it? We are a strong soccer nation built on a tradition which is not only informed by the skills of our players but also the principles of discipline, commitment, patriotism, team work, and the need to achieve. Players who have contributed to our greatest achievements in the past upheld these principles, and we expect current generation of footballers to do the same if we are to excel in world football. We cannot, and should not force them to do what they don't want to do; and if they decide not to serve their country let us wish them well in their other endeavours and look up to the coming young ones to put our nation on the world soccer map. It is meaningless fighting over two people when we are a nation of millions.
