They sideline nonconforming players who are self made or see through their inefficiency and corrupt practices.
They carry out generational punishment for children to suffer the iniquities of their fathers.
They gag objectivity in soccer discourse through rented press and soccer commentators.
They have taken whole country to ransom by silencing us so we cannot talk about certain players they have tagged as bad guys.
They hide behind FIFA to make themselves untouchables. Ghanians must wake up for our doom near if we find a way around this situation.

Those who win the games win it for the glory, but when you pay a player so much, he only works to get the money and stop there. Everybody knows that Sellas Tetteh was supposed to be ordained successor of that foreign coach but for reason beyond any reasonable mind it was given to Akwesi Appiah. Even though AA was the assistant to that foreign coach but he should have been sent to take over the U-20 team but not straight promotion to take over the national mantle. To be honest with any reader, my take on it is tribalism at its best at the GFA. Unless it comes to a halt, we will never see progress. Take it or leave it. That is the problem. Ka ne wu

Part of this problem is from the coaching stand point.If i were the coach or one of the members,i will tell the team "be ware of March 15th".A smart coach will always prepare his team with hard training before every game they have to play. I will re-enforce everything that brought us to this point.Hey guys we can,t play this game here like the last four games.The more a team advanced to the next stage, the harder they play.
I will talk to players one on one on certain issues and not with general approach. KOFI or SEIDU these were your strength and weaknesses on the last game. So this is how i want you to approach the next game.As a coach,i will want to know certain qualities of my opponents team before each game is played.
If the above is not possible,i will be able to determine my approach of the game after 20-30 minutes of play against my opponent.I will remind my players that we should play each game at this stage like the last one.Give it all you can guys.
I don,t like coaches who sit on the bunch and watch the players play. I will be on my feet for the 90 minutes or more coaching.

YOU ARE SIMPLY LYING TO YOURSELF THAT ALL IS WELL. YOU WILL PAY FOR IT AT THE TOURNAMNT. THIS IS WAT HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH GH ESP THE GBSTARS. IM SURE USAIN BOLT HAS BROKEN HIS WR/OR LOTS OF TIMES IN TRAINING. YET, NO ONE KNOWS. ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION/OLYMPIC GAMES OR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, HE KNOWS ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. SO HIS CHANCES OF FURTHER BREAKING THE RECORD OR SETTING BETTER TIMES IS MUCH LESS THAN IN TRAIN9NG. BESIDES, HE HAS THE CROWD, WIND, TURF, COMPETITORS, BOTTLE THROWERS ETC AS DISTRACTIONS. HOWEVER, BCOS HE HAS TRAINED N BROKEN THE RECORD LOTS OF TIMES IN HIS SECRET TRAINING HIDEOUT. DEEP DOWN, HE FEELS CONFIDENT HE CAN WIN THE RACE, BREAK THE EXISTING RECORD OR WIN A MEDAL. ALL IM SAYING IS, YOU HVE TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN YOU TRAIN/PREPARE FOR MAJOR TOURNAMENTS. IF NOT, YOU WILL UNDER PREPARE N THEN FIND YOURSELF EXITING THE COMPETITION IN THE FIRST ROUND, QUARTER FINAL OR 2ND SEMI FINAL HEAT........LIKE GTBSTRS, OUR ATHLETES ALWAYS FIND THEMSELVES...LOL. The problem is psychological but the approach to solve it will not work. Attaching a psychologist to the team is useless.
The way we believe we can just pray to God, speak in tongues and sing sweet gospel music or just go through some mystic rituals in order to win a match, is the first mind-set problem to solve. Neither prayers to God nor juju can help any team to win a match. It takes a well prepared talented and physically fit team to win a competition.
The second problem to solve concerns the things we do prior to an upcoming match and this causes negative distraction. We in Ghana believe in too much of public relations. So we use the players in public relations activities when they should be training or resting quietly. Also, we allow the press to invade the Black Stars’ camp when they are in camp preparing for a match just because we think when a player tells the press that we are going to win and that becomes headline news the following day, then we are actually going to win. This is rather a drain on players' focus.
And during competitions, in-between matches, players must maintain focus but we let them engage in distractive and energy sapping activities like wild, long prayers and hot gospel song singing when they should be either resting or training.
Just as the GFA Chairman brilliantly analysed, the Black Stars form dips with the number of matches played. That is why the teams we easily beat in the first round turn round to beat us easily when we meet them in a play-off.
We must have a mindset that focuses the Black Stars on football and only football. They don’t need a psychologist.

This include the bad leadership across broad spectrum of the population from chiefs to politicians. The country sit on wealth but borrows money for any major project. Prefer to spend national revenues on bloated civil service that have nothing to show for insted of spending money on roads, rails, electrity and other capital investments. Gives money to people to go religious adventure instead of improving hospitals. The priorities of the nation from Rawlings through Kufour to current President is totally misguided.

Perhaps one should wonder about the fitness levels of the overused players by their fifth outing in a tournament. Coaches and tacticians for the Black Stars should also wonder whether by their fith games, they have given away most or all of their plays. These types of analysis and adjustments are going to help the Stars. It might be helpful to look at what aided the stars of old to get past game five in previous successful encounters in tournaments. Psyching players up is just an aspect of what is needed to do better.

It does not prove a persistent psychological problem within the team.
How can you make such a statement when none of the players who played in the 1980's or 1990's are still on the team, not to mention the coaches that have come and gone since then.
The GFA chairman has become a polarising figure who is taking away focus from himself by blaming the players for a perceived and unproven fault.
Did you expect Ghana to win the world cup in South Africa? Wasn't that only our second time in the competition?
We lost our coach after that competition because the GFA is a cheap organisation that could not keep its place with other big national teams.
Who do you think you are letting those stinking Arabs take away our coach.
The quality of a good coach can only be measured in the quality of his players. That coach failed in Arabia and Qatar because they had no quality players there.
Bring Coach M. Rajevic back so that you can put a stop to this "I can put my foot in my mouth show" or is it a "blame the someone for a solution"
