The three changes Kwasi Appiah made was the result of the last two goals. I hope he will recognize this changes and execute more of that in our future matches. This should let him know that when a player is not functioning well in a particular match, it is okay to take him out.
Like I said, that was an excellent strategy there. He realized Sudan was coming into the match with full force in the second half since Sudan was down by 2 goals. When he realized they couldn't get through our defense, he brought in two offensive and one defensive midfielders to solidify the midfield and also put pressure on Sudan's defense. That was a smart tactics to use. With that, the attacking method from Sudan, at the first 15 minutes in the second half, drastically diminished and the momentum instantly switched.
I hope he keeps this squad with only minor changes and also would not allow anyone to convince him to change it. It is a team that wins tournaments not an individual. If he can keep this team together, we will have the opportunity to reach somewhere even in the WC. He just have to bring in Boakye Yiadom when the player is fully fitness in place of Otoo Mahama.
The more they play together as a team, the better and cohesive the team would become.

Appiah should get a video of this match cum our matches during the nations cup. Our boys did a lot better today but were sluggish in the 2nd half. The Sudanese dominated that half from the blast of the whistle for over 25 munites. Against any strong opposition, the two 1st half goals would've been equalised. Our boys give the balls away very oten in the second half of our games. Appiah needs to find out what could be the course. On the whole, it's a great win and kudos to all who helped in championing this feat.

Good teams make average teams look poor. That is what Ghana did today. There have been many games where Ghana would just barely win a game like this. i.e. the one goal project days. A team needs games like this to establish themselves as a team to be feared. Appiah was right in that he played two strikers and started Rabiu as a defensive midfielder. Rabiu was great. The one mistake that Appiah made was listening to his critics and playing Kwadwo Asamoah as midfielder. I believe he is more confident as a left back.

He must begin to plan towards the next game. He is right that we need to win all our remaining games in order to qualify. It is not an easy task, as it includes away games in a hot Sudan and at altitude in
Lesotho. Kwesi Appiah only needs to look at Zambia's result in Lesotho to realise that it will be a tricky trip to the rarefied heights. He would be wise to allow at least 3 days to acclimatise, and seek advise from those players who have experienced playing there.
Qualification is now in our hands. Let us make the most of our advantage.

Congratulations Boys.
Well I followed the game via the Internet this afternoon because I wasn’t able to watch it live like some lucky people. But even with a win under their belt, people are still against the coach, which leads me to think, that some people are never happy unless they have something to complain about, or unless they can find fault with some one or some thing. Those of you who have started this conspiracy theory of the game being sold to Sudan, the only answer to that this: ARE YOU REALLY AS STUPID AS YOU SOUND? FIFA would throw Ghana out of this world cup campaign and future world cups as well. So stop chatting rubbish!!
The boys have done well without the Ayew brothers, may be they should be left out totally for their attitude before.
Frankly to all of you who have nothing better to do than to slag off the coach, it’s because of people like you that Asamoah-Gyan threatened to stop playing for Ghana, give people a chance. There are very few indigenous coaches in Africa; Ghana has one who has CAF Cup of Nation and World Cup experience. Give the man a chance, do not scare him off.
Well done Boys, go to Sudan and do the same! Lesotho has done you a favour by holding Zambia to a draw. Long may that continue!!

AA DIDNT EXHIBIT ANY SPECIAL TACTICAL STRATEGIES. HE IS FOREIGN TO SUCH STRATEGIES. MAXWELL KONADU IS THE ONE DOING ALL THE JOB BEHIND THE SCENES. AA IS JUST GETTING HANDSHAKES AND MORE MONEY. MONKEY WORKING FOR BABOON TO CHOP.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT OTOO DID IN THIS GAME? WHERE IS YAHAYA AND YIADOM? AA, U SAID THEY WERE INJURED BEFORE AND DURING AFCON 2013. ARE THEY STILL INJURED? ANYONE WHO IS IMPRESSED WITH THIS WIN IS A FOOL. THIS IS SIMILAR TO PREMIER CLUB PLAYING DIV 3/COLTS TEAM AND SAYING WE WERE TACTICALLY SUPERIOR....MUAHAHAHAAAAAAA. GO AND PLAY AWAY TO YOUR SIZE AND TELL ME IF YOU ARE TACTICALLY SUPERIOR, NKWASIAS3M. YOU THINK WE HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR WALANTUWALANZA COACHING, FLAPPING AND FLAILING YOUR ARMS ON THE SIDELINES LIKE A CIRCLE TRAFFIC CONDUCTOR?

George, by your name it is difficult for me to know where in Ghana you come from.Since when did Akans monopolize any government structure or department? Have you forgotten how poor, famish, destitute and irresponsible folks from a particular tribe took over the country and went on killing and stealing rampage? Have you forgotten how this same group is always crying victim while they are stealthily victimizing others? Your resorting to insults is and indication of your inability to present your case in a reasonable and civil manner. I am not an Akan but please leave them alone. Akans, especially Asantes, are always welcome at Salaga, Tamale and Yendi, in fact throughout the great Northern Region.

I do not share the idea that Ghana was technically superior. In fact, we were only lucky that the Sudanese did failed to utilise their chances at goal during the early part of the second half, otherwise they could have scored a few goals and sent us panicking. We lost all the 50-50 balls in mid-field during the early second half and there could have been a disaster.
Our forward line was good as they utilised the few chances that came thier way unlike our past matches in which we lost a lot of chances upfront. That was a great improvement and we should keep it up.
Also the GFA must ensure that the yellow card wrongly issued to the player for falling in the penalty box is cancelled asap

TYPICAL GHANAIAN!! KWESI APPIAH HAS ALREADY STARTED BEING A BRAGGART BY SAYING THE BLACKS STARS WERE TACTICALLY SUPERIOR.
HOW TACTICALLY SUPERIOR WERE THE BLACK STARS AGAINST MINNOWS LIKE SUDAN?
THIS LOW STANDARD OF CHAOTIC PERFORMANCE CANNOT GET GHANA'S BLACK BLACK STARS ANYWHERE AT THE WORLD CUP, IF WE QUALIFY.
THE BLACKS STARS PASSESS AND BALL POSSESSION SKILLS WERE TERRIBLY BELOW PAR.
MOST OF THEIR PASSES WERE ON IMPULSE AND USUALLY OFF TARGET AS THOUGH THEY DIDN'T WANT TO PROVIDE COMFORTABLE PASSES TO EACH OTHER.
THEY PASSED SELFISHLY AS THOUGH THEY WANTED TO GET THEIR TARGETS INJURED BEFORE GETTING TO THE PASSED BALL TO MAKE WAY FOR THEIR PREFERRED PLAYER.
THESE ARE WHAT KWESI APPIAH SHOULD WATCH OUT FOR!!!
