I think your comment was just out of jealousy which is very Ghanaian, Desailly has done extremely well, although a business venture yet a social responsibility to Ghana.

Osei Kofi was once offered 10,000 pounds to play for Man Utd and he refused and stayed in Ghana. From the days of the Aggrey Finns, Addo Odameteys, through the Mohammed Polos, Abdul Razaks to the Abedi Peles, Tony Yeboahs, etc., Ghana has seen a number of true nationalists who went through thick and thin to hold high the nation's flag. "Marcel Desailly's high sense of nationalism"? Plz give us a break! The guy opted to play for France when he could have done a bit for Ghanaian football. He chose to come into Ghana football only as a high-charging foreing coach (albeit with Ghanaian roots for advantage) and is investing in Ghana just like many other Ghanaians living abroad and a lot of foreigners. I have nothing against Desailly as an individual, but please don't taut him as a nationalist or patriot. Well, maybe Jawula is referring to Desailly's allegiance to France.

this guy decided to play for france at a time football wasn't as big as it is today,he made that choice at a time he was probably a teenager or young,
he made the choice at the time his carrier probably depended on it.
