I agree with you, I did watch all the two games they have played, and can admit that they do have skills. Though they are totally naive and childish with their passes and run-ins. The coach failed us, he is just a waste, he failed to groom them to be a little bit more purposeful with their runs and passes. It was obvious that our preparation have been completely inadequate. Next time we should assemble the team 6 to 12 months ahead, and give the boys a chance to play several friendly gives together.

We only need a 3-goal margin win over CIV to be assured of qualification. A 1-0 win will also be sufficient so long as the other match does not end in a draw. There is still hope. A Nigeria-Congo draw coupled with a win for u ...

A Nigeria-Congo draw coupled with a win for us implies that three teams will be tied at 4pts apiece with Nigeria automatically going through and GH-CiV vying for the other slot based on final goal-difference.

Ghanaians in generally have the the tendencies of starting and at the end of soccer with outside minds. The moment the whistle goes the war without guns start.I said this so many times to watch out for such slick approach by many teams. The Arab countries know Ghana teams this way.Its hard to come from behind in any comparative game now.Every one understands the game now and so teams pry on each other mistakes.The team that score first will not relent its defensive position for the other team to score.Please coaches start the game with a defensive approach and not bent on scoring.When a team approach a game this way,then it opens up gaps for the opponent to run through.Ghanaian don,t seem to have the stamina.
If i were a soccer coach now in Ghana,my number one goal with my team is to gain stamina.The guys with the strong stamina will start all my games. I will make my opponents run all over the field with accurate and short passes. Play with the ball till your opponent makes an attempt for the ball. When i get my opponent tied,then i bring my quick and strong shooters for the goals.
Coaches don,t make goal scoring your priority.Entertain the spectators with the art of football but be mindful of a strong defense.Take what your opponent gives you. If they (opponent) starts fast counter act that quickly.But when they slow and seem tied then you come out with fast plays. A good and winning team has ball control,stamina and with killer instinct. Sports is a modern war without the guns.
