The two phrases you are criticizing are separate so where is the Twi English? The author first described what happened before he described the action taken and that's what is getting you confused? You are just a Trokosi fool calling for attention because Ewes have nothing to show for their pride other than their fake chew and pour claim to literacy which they can't even make any good use of.

You better focus your attention on Trokosi and find a way to abolish it. It's more important than being an English teacher on Ghanaweb.
