  The player should have assault charges pressed against him by the referee. If this player wants to play organized soccer, he needs to follow rules of conduct for the beautiful game. The unruly fans who created mayhem should be fished out and charged as well. Security at these games need reviewing to ensure that these incidents are minimized or eliminated entirely in future.
