For being loyal,Hearts of oak must find a good club and a good deal for the lad.Get him a decent club in the La liga or the premiership(DECENT BUT NOT SUCCESSFUL as successful clubs bring with them their problems too}

I am not Heart of Oak fan but MAHATMA will be the yard stick for many up and coming players.That you need to mature in our local league and train heard as you will get offer from better clubs and you gonna excel too.

Many of the stars in the Ghanaian league refused to matured here in Ghana and they wanna travel for any move at.Even a move to India, so far as they will be paid few thousand dollars.

MAHATMA can play for additional season here in Ghana and he's offer is going to grow if he puts the same performance.

I always use Anthony ANNAN as an example.He refused to go on trial when many clubs contacted him.He focused on the local league and played for many years.He got a call up into Black stars and he was signed by a foreign club.That's it.

Learn your trade very well in the local league and grow in confident.With that you can play anywhere in the World

that's what hearts of oak is about. hearts is a big club with big ambitions run by highly educated people. they may not be as good as they were but the pride is still there. it is not a feeder club. their purpose is to build a team to conquer the domestic league and africa. so when a player joins the team they should not be looking to use it as a spring to a mediocre deal in europe but to become part of an empire.
this topic is on mahatma otoo but u also mentioned anthony annan--remember annan was a phobian when he left Ghana. hearts is a big club.

is he really 21 years? i hope when he gets the deal - his performance doesn't go down as though he is a 35yrs old after 2yrs into his contract- as in the case of many of our stars.

This is his fith year at Hearts and if he played for his previous Premier league team Sporting Mirren for two years, that is seven years and that means Otoo started playing in the Premier league when he was 14. This is what should be addressed in Ghana football. - until that happens - I can't see Ghana winning world cup - or african cup -- why? b'cos buy the time the players come to the seen, they have actually exhausted thier useful playing life,--- Look at the players we line up for national team with ages in the early and mid twnties - but their performance is below the performace of Rogger Millar at his last world cup age 40yrs.
For me this guy does not look 21yrs and he is not 21 --- like you rightly said@ Coach -- Ghana fort u --- once some one gets some money into his/her pocket -- its ok --- We can decide to be dishonest with age in football --- that means we will not win any major cup again!!!!!!
