It doesn't mean we never struggled, we did go through lots of horrible experience. If we had lived kissing peoples ass, our lives would've been in serious jeopardy by now. Why should a whole nation go back and forth begging players to play or allow players to retire and come back at any time they please? We're setting very bad examples for other players to follow.

in the system in Ghana, I have seen a situations where governments invite individuals working overseas to come down and help forestall sanity, OOPS! to augment the fleet in the system.

I have seen good players in a team yet
the management would lobby in an attempt to acquire many more good players to come join the fleet.

Going to beg/purchase good players has only one connotation: "Making your team better.
The addition of the 4 waywards may make the team better instead.

Both of us have advocated and shared the same draconian measures about the closing door, keep it shut from all those who exhibit some amount of dishonesty, apathy and gross insubordination, as well as non-chalant attitude towards mother Ghana referenced to soccer.

I know, it was a bluff. I know, from

That is when Oba-des3efo, the KPB's return must also meet our eye. He couldn't carry the GBS alone. In concert, they'll overcome.

Regarding Mike Essien, it is a must that he 'must come' otherwise his foundation could be in jeopardy.
His reputation as the Bison could be offered for sale on the block come next time when he comes parading another reason why Ghana should support his foundation. Essien is not too smart. His skirmishes shows quite a lot of ineptitude so much that he would have himself to blame if he doesn't partake the hostilities in September.

With this in mind, we need experience and fight hard players like PKB and Andre Ayew. I won't be suprise if Essien anoounces his come back as others have done. Asamoah Gyan retired from the Black Star but is back why are some of you are not happy for PKB to be back. As long as the GFA rules are respected, any player who left the team must be accepted back is they wants to be back. May God bless Ghana

This habit should not be encouraged in Ghana. If a retiree does not contribute in the qualification competition he MUST NOT AND I REPEAT MUST NOT be considered for the final line up for any impending world or continental competition. I think it's an injustice to the players who helped Black to qualify if we allow the retirees to join at the last minute. Let's tell the retirees NCNS i.e. No Contribution, No Selection.

Those that say we have other players to play, that's fine! Let those players compete with these established players for selection.

A nation is supposed to bring their best players available to them in the world cup.

To me the current crop of players are not that great. We can't even beat Cape Verde or Burkina Faso. Even, if we top our group, we still have to sort things out with the Elephants or Mali.

Let's be positive and realistic and give him a chance because even those of us(self-righteous) who still think are better are and will never be perfect. There are only about 3 most committed Black Star Players I have ever seen; Stephen Appiah, Richard Kingson and John Pantsil. I also recall our reaction to the results of the just ended CAN 2013 where Nigerians were champions. We all saw that the performance of the Black Stars was nothing to write home about. This was one tournament that Ghana could have won hands down and yet due to the incompetence of the coach and half-baked players we could not even win a bronze. It is against this background that many are calling for amnesty of all the "self-exiled" players. Why couldn't we even draw in Zambia, the only strong team in our group. Lesotho and sudan are whipping teams and if we do not take care and underestimate Lesotho, could get the shock of our lives. These boys are back with a heart to play... forget what they did but Let GFA be wiser in managing players, besides if all the top players were featured all the time, how would we discover the new ones. Every opportunity created must be taken advantage of either by old or new and the GFA. Against this backdrop, every player must justify his inclusion in the national team, the black stars. Many think it's unfair to all the players back with this notion "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop" but thats not the case in matter, Like the parable of the Workers in the Vineyard that Jesus shared, "many are called but few are chosen" and that depends on Kwesi Appiah.
