He probably will not make the cut for the Zambia game but you never know when he might be needed and his confidence must be kept high. Even the worst players have one or two good performances in them that may come up at a critical time.

These are positive comments from a coach as should be. Adiyiah had a great potential when he played for the youth team. In fact, he was the top scorer in the competition. Then the wheels fell off when he went to play abroad. He was not nurtured perfectly so as to flourish into a Messi as he himself had wished in the beginning of his career. Appiah says he kept Adiyiah on the radar. We hope things could work out this time around. Remember that it was his last minute header that nearly gave as a semi-final berth in the WC 2012 if that Suarez had not scooped the goalbound ball with his hands. The Black Stars do not have ferocious striker like Osei Tawiah has correctly pointed out. Let Appiah work with him and if possible transform him into a lethal striker like the legendary srikers of old. If things do not work out then his career may falter like Freddie Adu, Junior Agogo, and Tagoe.
