This means 1st&2nd in the 6 groups = 12 + the 4 best 3rd pace to make it 16 teams into the next round which is the round of 16. It means Ghana can still qualify if they beat USA and finish third.

I watch the game in pain as I had wanted to get in the screen and ask Sellas Tetteh to send help to the loan striker.
A good coach would have identified, the loan striker in the first half was handled by the two defenders and sometimes, the striker let the ball lose. That was an opportunity for the coach to have a player right behind him, in order to pick up lose balls.
The attacking right flank lacked the stamina to run and support the attacker. After he make the run, he just stand and watch what's up.
There was no deft touches between attacking midfielders and the attacker. Most of the time, they will do their perfect dribbling and missed the run on the attacker and ball will let lose for the Spaniards to pick up.
The boys were good but truly did not practice on breaking the Spanish defense. Though they sealed their ass, it was disappointing to see all their attacking effort, less.
Coordination between attacking midfielders and the attackers were zilch and ouch, that hurt.
My heart denied me the chance to watch the second half, as it was too much disappointment to bear. Better luck next time. Our 442 is outmoded and we need to play like Barcelona, where we have enough players to play in the box and create chances for easy tap ins.

Ghana played a much better game than against France. They were up to the Spaniards and they could have scored a few goals. But it is not true that Ghana outplayed Spain by far. They didn't even outplay Spain. The Spaniards played a poorer game than they showed against USA but even their low form was able to contain the Ghanaians. Their attempts at goal were more purposeful and far more dangerous. Good work by the Ghanaian goalie prevented them from adding to the tally.

We need to beat USA well to have any chance of advancing. If the boys are all from the domestic league and they are so young (the third youngest team in the tournament), then they did very well and should be commended. Lack of experience showed but this is the place for them to get it. We should hope that they will reach their peak when they join the national team - and grow a bit taller too if that is possible.

Anyway, the first game against France did Ghana in. Better luck next time.

Ive seen a video clip of the game and i can tell you the satellites deserved to win but the goal by Spain was down to poor marking and lack of game reading by the left full back if he is the no 3 and Sellas will agree with me. The spaniard was running with the ball into the 18 yard and could not have scored from that tight angle therefore decide to pass the ball to the unmarked man at the far end, if there was a proper concentration by the left full back i believe the goal would have been prevented, players like Hesse Odamtten would have stopped the guy but the player was not even looking on his shoulder to see who is coming and went rather to join the satellite defender in tackling the ball leaving a big gap and an unmarked spanish player to tap in. The cheapest goal and a poor marking which cost Ghana dearly. I know sellas knew there is danger and that proved the case. Also on the other end Ghana was awarded a free kick just yards outside the 18, i dont know what the player was trying to do either he was aiming at the acute angle or curling the ball but went wide. i believed free kicks like that should be hit powerfully and accurately at high speed towards the goal and that could cause a massive problem to the goalkeeper but shot wide.At least the result would have been nil nil or Ghana winning by just. Hope this mistake is not repeated against the USA in the last game a win could be better and possibly gets results on the other games to their side and into the last 16. Lets hope it happened.
