Our forward were more or less selfish, sometimes they don't want to pass the ball. They can't even pull back to avoid being in offside position. At the end of the day, this group of guys are not that good. They were even lucky to get to this stage of the tournament.

The referee also rubbed Ghana off a clean penalty. But that happens in football. Our luck run out. I am still proud of our team.
Our defense leaked badly. We took in too many goals. Finally Boakye should had been a starter or brought in earlier in the 2nd half.
Overall our boys did their best. The Coach failed to address our defense solidly. But we can not win all the time. Bravo to the all the boys.

The Satellites could not have done better than what they did by being semi finalists. Both the players and the coach did so well. It is very unreasonable for us Ghanaians to always think that we should be world champions always - once in a while, yes; but not always.
All the other African teams including even the African champions, Egypt, were swept aside by the brutal force of the competition.
In fact, this competition is not an end in itself but a means to develop the game at the senior level. What is the point for a country to win U20 world cup but fail to qualify for the senior world cup or if qualified, cannot even reach the semi final? That is why countries like Brazil, Argentina and Spain who are past U20 champions can be said to be credible champions because, they can also boast of being past world champions at the senior level.
The good thing about the Satellites team is that they have some few revelations like Acheampong and Rahman Baba, who can join the senior national team to strengthen it.

I think C K observed rightly. Some of the players did not fall back to help the defense. They lost bcos they did not defend as a team, some were waiting in the middle for few to tackle and pass the ball to them.
