  To say they have overachieved is patently wrong, they went to bring the trophy home, now that is not possible, means they have not achieved their objective. They have slightly under-achieved.

  How do you say they under-achieved when the team was so unbalanced (POROUS DEFENCE)! Every team goes to a tournament with the aim to win; and at the end there's only one winner. This doesn't mean the rest all under-achieved. ...

  How do you say they under-achieved when the team was so unbalanced (POROUS DEFENCE)! Every team goes to a tournament with the aim to win; and at the end there's only one winner. This doesn't mean the rest all under-achieved. in my opinion, it's the heavy favorites;spain and Portugal, who were the under-achievers in this tournament.
