THE MORE MONEY AND SUPPORTU CAN GET. U CAN ALSO CHARGE MONEY FOR PPL TO WATCH THESE FIGHTS. U CAN GET MONEY FROM TV/RADIO BROADCASTS.   Sam'The Hawk' Akromah ex-Commonwealth super-feather champion is one of the guys the Central Region can talk about ok?
  I think Akromah is a coach in Cape Coast and not to mention him in such a story is a great disservice to him and the lack of information by the author!!!

  According to history, in the 1950s there used to be an outstanding boxer from Cape Coast called Jack Robinson who used to fight every month for just 5 pounds 50 shillings. The boxing promotors used him and let him down and died penniless. There was another boxer in the 60s by the name Kofi Pepsi who left Cape Coast to Accra for more money. Even the great Floyd Robertson was transferred by the then sport council to Cape Coast and he produced a lot of boxers. The foundation is there, therefore it won't be hard to rekindle the interest.
