I still remember Dogo Moro of Asante Kotoko when came back from retirement in the '60s' and played well for some of us who did not see play to have the chance to do just that, but he did not last. Like-wise Kwame Adarkwa, that was how I saw him played also, he did not last either. So I hope I see Stephen Appiah do that for to have the opportunity of seeing him play, because I have never seen play even though I leave in New York.

In that famous Ghana Black Star Group versus Real Madrid of Spain game on August 19, 1962 Kwame Adarkwa made the score 2-1 in the 42nd minute affter Edward Acquah's 15th minute hell-fire goal was equalized by Ferenc Puskas in the 27th minute equalizer. This match actually ended in high drama.Baba Yara played number 11 during this game instead of his usual number 7. In the 70th minute Zoco of Real Madrid made the score 2-2. In the 88th minute Baba Yara dribbled magically around the centre circle, and passed the ball to Edward Acquah who send a thunderbolt shot that almost lifted the goalpost off the ground. The score at point was Ghana 3 Real Madrid 2. Goalkeeper Araquistain recovered from the daze generated by the shot and fetched the ball from the net and gave it to Alfredo di Stefano who was discussing emergency strategy with Ferenc Puskas. Meanwhile the Black Star defence were celebrating Acquah's goal with Emmanuel Oblitey and Addo Odamettey almost out of the pitch. Now hear this. The referee Francis Mills of England whistled and Amancio passed the ball to Bueno who lifted the ball in the air. Puskas headed the ball to Pachin who headed to Miera who headed Marquitos who headed to Puskas who headed to di Stephano who headed the ball into the empty net in the 89th minute. Immediately they scored the referee whistled for the end of the game.Ghana 3 Real Madrid 3. Ohene Djan's wife was very furious. She had wished that this match was refereed by Mathias de Fanti from Togo. This former soccer star refereed the first FA Cup Final in 1958 between Hearts and Kotoko . This game featured Dogo Moro, the greatest of the Kotoko defenders and one of the best defenderds that ever played for the Black Stars.Hearts took an early 2-0 lead and lost 2-4.
