I agree with AA. If he is not 100% fit, don't field him. We do not want him to aggravate anything and go back to his club totally injured.

I will still advice AA to start with him even if he is not 100% fit. You still have the Chance of changing him if it´s not helping, because his presence alone can create panic in the defence of Zambia

I was going to say exactly that. Gyan's presence will take about 2 or 3 Zambian players attacking him, whiles another player will score.

This is not a good advice. Remember the coach has only 3 chances of subtitution. It is imperative to have a first eleven who can go the distance. Substitution should only be made in the unlikely event that a player gets injur ...

This is not a good advice. Remember the coach has only 3 chances of subtitution. It is imperative to have a first eleven who can go the distance. Substitution should only be made in the unlikely event that a player gets injured whilst in action. Or for reasons of fatigue. Putting 50% fit player in diminishes your ability to substitute for strategic reasons. Lets not be careless.

...I failed to explained things better. I was assuming he could be included if about 75 to 80% fit. Even 60% is not advisable. My aim is to have the Zambian defence distracted by his presence; not for him to score, per say.

In any case, I have the feeling that he could be almost 100% fit by Friday morning.
