I get mad whenever I see Ivory Coast referred to as the number one in Africa, b'cos truthfully Iknow we can beat them on any given day. We have no business going to Brazil if we're scared of facing these Egyptians.
We're ranked the second best on the continent so let us live to our expectation. I have friends here from Egypt who have gone on a hunger strike ever since this pairings came out. The wife of one of them called me to find out why her husband is looking sad all of a sudden. Folks the truth is these people fear us more than we do them. Let's roll out all our big guns, Essien, KPB,Dede, Asamoah Gyan, Muntari, KASA, Agye B,Warris and the rest. Please don't forget Jordan, he has a way of irritating these North African teams and exposing their shortcomings.
The team I am really worried about is Nigeria. Ethiopia is one of the most dangerous teams on the continent now, and I hope Naija would not play with them at all. Let's make this world cup an all West African affair.
Finally all those who are still scared, can take the lead with the women. This is the day we've been waiting for to write our name into the history books as the best soccer nation in Africa poised to raise the world cup for the first time ever.

On paper, they should easily qualify on a draw or a tight win in Ghana, and a comfortable win at home. Reality is, their chances don't exceed 70% when it comes to world cup qualifying. Why? look at their world cup qualifying history. Why? not sure why, go figure. May be a complex. Fortunately, qualifying to the World Cup has been a complex for Ghana themselves. The defeat to Ghana in a friendly game about a year ago does not mean anything, just because it is a FRIENDLY game.
Overall, I think Egypt will still make it to Brazil this time for some reason. Best wishes to beloved Egypt.

I agree 100%. Why should God favor a team against the other. If God would ever bother this whole sports fiddling, then well, there is a good percentage of Coptic Christians among the Egyptian population. I am one of them.
