Here was what happened last weekend between the two Egyptian giants. First of all when you look at the sections made by both coaches, you can see that their best were picked. This gives us the sense that Egypt is not coming into this playoff with their weak players. Secondly, most of the players in these two squads are the best Egypt has in their national team. Only about two or three players would come from outside. In other words, the Egyptian national team is built around these players.

Now, read the written commentary and have the sense of what could be seen from these players. They play almost the same with their usual cut from both wings and sneaking behind opponent defenders.

Don't forget, Bob Bradley was around during this match and may take some notes from the way both clubs penetrates.

The game will be held behind closed doors at the Red Sea resort of Gouna, 430km from the capital, due to security concerns, though neither team attributes any importance to the location of the match.

those days its only after the match when we get beaten that we realise we are beatable or we can be beaten.
but now you realise you could be beaten long b4 the day of the game,and its not a good feeling,cos normally you look 4ward to the game!
I just don't think the team is as consistent as it should be at this time,in the past you know what to expect when the boys are in town,but not anymore.
I think the delay of the team to be consistent is due to the coach tinkerin too much with the squad,you cant buy experience and it was clear when essien came on against Zambia,
a lot of Ghanaians wrote him off but thats the difference between playing in the best teams in Europe for so many years and someone who just started.he came on and made the whole game easy and stressless.
the coach needs to stop dropping matured players uneccesarily,we need all our best players,I don't think anything should stop the old players,already proven players,still playing at top teams in Europe,having no problem whatsoever with his performance at club level to be dropped.
they need to always be in the team or on the bench,not to talk of in the squad.

Notably amongst them is complacency; lack of focus; loss of concentration, over-elaboration and most worrisome of all the tendency to be selfish and individualistic. If these shortcomings are rectified and the team plays selflessly as a unit, we are capable of giving any team, not only the Egyptians, a good run for their money.

Yes, they must show discipline and tactical awareness,desist from selfishness and individualism and play as a team. I am sure the technical team have learnt a lot from the difficult path Ghana went through to reach this stage and will be able to rectify the team's shortcomings. You are right Egypt play as a team(Bob Bradley's teams are known for that) and they have been scoring goals. Mind you, we too have goal scorers like Abdul Majid Warris; Sulley Muntari; Kevin Prince Boateng; Dede Ayew and Wakaso amongst others. You claim Sallah scored for Basle. But you forgot to tell Ghanaians 3 of their compatriots were on the scoring sheets with their respective clubs in the same tournament tonight.
