Not a bad idea, but if we want to have a feel how the Egyptians will be like will be to play Morroco. We haven't played them in a while. They are swift in play.

To benefit from any friendly match before the Egypt match, is to come against Algeria. The a Northern Country capable of beating Egypt in the recent years. Playing Ethiopia wound't get us any clue on how to handle our next opponent. Therefore, if we can't play Algeria, the next group of the nations we may go for to prepare us toward the future, is should be the European or the South American nations since that too will prepare us toward the WC tournament itself.
can someone help me to recognize the benefit of playing Ethiopia? I will really appreciate it.

The only benefit I see here is both Ethiopia and Egypt has E as their first name, both countries are mentioned in Jewish Bible and both drink from the rive Nile. How about that.

Well, they're not quite at the " Kings' " level yet, but they're getting there quickly because of their fast rate of progression.

If Ghana really wants to be tested, then friendlies against tough South American or European sides are what is needed. I think that going forward, our CHAN squad should play friendlies with African sides.

Let us honor the Ethiopians request to play the Black Stars in Accra, because we will need their excellent high elevation facilities in preparing for the second leg in November against Egypt. There will be no travel involved and it will give the Black Stars a chance to satisfy the Accra fans before heading for Kumasi.
The second friendly should be against Cape Verde or Burkina Faso. Cape Verde because they are a vastly improved side and Burkina Faso because they beat us in AFCON 2013. They dismantled our defense.
If all fails I say Togo, Benin or Ivory Coast, we will not tire our players by traveling far.
