  Ghana should try and host the CAN in 2019. Organize the ticketing and transportation process very well. The venues are already there. It is a matter of using the internet well for the ticketing process and hopefully having a strong domestic airline situation at that time. There is no reason the Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale stadiums should not be filled. Give the students free tickets if need be.

  Worth trying, but I think our chances of getting it after just 11 years (2008-2019) are quite slim.

  Better chance with a CHAN bid, since we're yet to host one.
  
  But then, with all the instability or the image of instability around the continent - not to mention the exclusion of the "underdeveloped" countries - Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, perhaps Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique remain the only viables.
  
  I wish Kenya could, but hei, they've now joined the losers club.

  focus on projects reducing poverty ...ask Botswana to stage it...they have all the money but rather focus on raising their standard of living rather than prestige..

  Remember how the national purse was raided last time ghana hosted the games....ghana should stay away from it for another 20 years till the public institutions and accountability are well established...

  Fight poverty, provide drinking water and school buildings, raise standard of living.....after that then think of prestige..
