Two regular players during qualifying. Appiah recognizes and knows who got the team this far. Dede is the only returnee who deserves to start. Essien and Muntari are good to have around just as substitutes who can hold a lead for us if we are in the lead in the second half. Part of the game is political. He is satifying certain people but in the end, Appiah is going to reward those who have done the work.

Both Diamond and Stallion, I'm very surprise to hear this from you under the player's present condition. Usually, I don't defend Kevin but this one, he has nothing to do with it. The player is hurt whether we like it or not. I was watching the game on Eurosport and I saw it too.

By the way, did Kevin send in any notice as he couldn't be able to make it to Ghana for the Egypt match? Have we read anything at anywhere including this article posted as Kevin wouldn't be able to make it? If not, then why drawing all these conclusions?

For Kevin not to be included in his club's squad for his club's next match due to an injury, doesn't mean the player is going to be out for three weeks. He may be back to play for his club the following week. Moreover, our encounter with Egypt is in three weeks. Kevin may be playing even before then, unless he is schedule to go for a surgery. If that unfortunate occurred, would it be his fault? Would that be classified as being fake?

Both of you are men of logic so allow me to ask you this. Do you think it is logic to go ahead and send in such messages when the player hasn't come out to pronounce his omission from the squad?

Think about it fellows, Kevin wouldn't fake if he has to at this moment of his profession. He and couple of Schalke strikers, including a German 20yr. old, Julian Draxler, are battling for the team's permanent striking positions. Do you think this is a good time for Kevin to fake for him to sit for others to play? I don't think so.

Here is why I say that, I see the first portion of our midfield, which is the defensive midfield being solid. On the contrary, it wouldn't be that productive, though solid, if the second part of the midfield, which is the offensive midfield, where Kevin may play, is not functioning. This is a position usually intimidate the opponent. With our so far formation, if our offensive midfield is sharp, it puts fear in the opponent to back-up. This allows the hidden play-maker from the defensive mid to join the attack. On the other hand, if the opponent is not seeing any fears on our threats, only one opponent's defender is put on each player.

I'm praying Kevin makes it to the Egypt's match. Only his presence will put fears in Egypt to attract two defenders on him. When it comes to that, Asamoah Gyan would be free to have only a single defender on him, which will be good for us instead of two. Kwedwo Asamoah, who may positioned as the hidden play-maker from the defensive midfield, could as well join the attack and could be shooting behind the 18 box.

If the formation and the mapping from the coach stays the same, however, Agyeman Badu is used instead of Kwedwo Asamoah, this is when Kwedwo Asamoah may be needed at a different position, at the defensive mid, the same threat could be inflicted on the opponent because Emmanuel Agyeman Badu even has powerful shot than Kwedwo Asamoah. Therefore, the same performance result could be obtained.

So you see, all we need is a second striker or an offensive midfielder whom the opponent knows is dangerous.

All I can say is, let us pray Kevin gets heal on time to help us beat Egypt. For the WC, I know whether he is hurt or not, he will be willing to play. Isn't that something?

We have to pray for him for a rapid recover and even if he doens´t make it, AA have other players whom he´ve used till now and can take care of his position as well.
