At least this referee should not behave like Afari Djan who would inter-prate a throw in as penalty for Egypt, like he behaved in our SC, where he said a chief can vote without verification.

We in Ghana over the years have accepted the lie that North African countries would by all means cheat us so we start pitying ourselves whenever we are going to meet them.
We should tune our minds to beat them on the field. Whatever they throw at us, we should be ready for it.
In the 1994 WC qualifier match against Algeria the lame excuse we gave for losing was that, they poured water on the field. It is as if the Algerians played on a dry pitch and we played on a wet pitch.
The referee is there to ensure the game is played according to FIFA regulations and it does not matter where he comes from. Red card, yellow card, penalty rules are the same rules we are well aware of.
We gear up to ensure the Egyptians are out. Let's tune-up our minds for battle without looking for any favours from the referee.

If what we're reading is true then Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi and his GFA outfit should ask for a better referee who'd ensure fairness and a good game. We don't want any shocks; GFA should be in a dialogue with FIFA as well as CAF. Such referees cannot be trusted. We have to do all we can to stop any dirty tricks by the Egyptians and the Moroccan referee. We cannot sit down after having all the 'info' only to regret that we did nothing about it from the beginning.

Above all, Coach Kwasi Appiah should start assembling his squad for training; he could start with local boys with whom he'll begin training esp. using his plans and strategies. He'll have enough knowledge and insight as to whether his strategies are workable on the training grounds. When his regular Professionals arrive, he may have had enough confidence to perfect his system or approach. He must first watch how he use the local boys to map out his strategy.

Watching your local team play or perform will give you the gist about what works; make the judgement from there. That's the way to go. We cannot afford to miss out on WC-2014.

It is unfair to have a referee from North Africa when the WC qualifying match is between a West African country vrs a North African country. The Referee should be chosen from East or South Africa. FIFA should live by its own motto: fairness and fair play! There shouldn't be any "buts" and "ifs" in the WC tournaments. There shouldn't be any bias set ups. Will FIFA chose a match official from Europe to handle a match between a South American nation and an European nation in any level at the WC-2014? FIFA must explain reasons why it made such a choice for a Moroccan referee in our match against Egypt. GFA should quickly lodge it's protest before it's too late!

Egypt is and always will be Africa's Ancestral lands, the soccer match between Ghana and Egypt is a competitive panAfrican contest between Brothers of the African Union Nations, to see it any other way, is really counter productive, they are both championship teams and anyone who is families with the sport will know, that on any given day, any team is capable of beating their opponents.

Let us all enjoy the match in the feeling of Brotherly love and Ghanaian civility/PanAfricanism, regardless of the final results, we will all be winners.
