I'm glad he is fit to play for he is needed in this match. With his fitness, I suggest he is paired with Majeed Waris up front so that Wakaso Mubarrak could come from the bench. We need 2 players up-front for early 3 goals before we bring in the solidification team, Wakaso Mubarak and Emmanuel Agyman Badu, to cement the result for us.

Asamoah Gyan wasn't able to score during 2008 Afcon in Ghana. Most in the nation began to rain insults on him.

Essien got hurt playing for us and eventually decided to take a break, people were insulting him.

Kevin... aaaa let me put a break on that because others haven't even done with their insults pouring upon this one yet.

So my question is, what drives us to insult them? Can't we argue or debate without the insults aside?

Hmmmm, we have a lot to learn and have a long way to go.

Which media organization will cover if I pooped in my pants on my way home and who'll pay to watch or buy to read?

Let it happen to KPB in Germany and you'll see the rush for such news.

It's something that goes with those with celebrity status. Even if they spat on the floor, there can be news made out of that. Nike or other sponsors don't pay money to sports personalities just because they're good but because we the fans like and adore them. As a result, we buy products with their names inscribed on. It's money business so if a fan spends so much buying a particular player's jersey and he's later misbehaving, this fan will be disappointed in him and to some extent cuss him out. It's not a Ghana thing, it's a world thing. Once upon a time, I drove towards Pentagon to Crystal city and there was a long traffic. It almost took forever to get to the Crystal city's mall. Right at the parking area, I was told the mall was closed to the public for some hours. I waited till they reopened because it wouldn't make sense driving through another traffic back home. In the end I found out that, the mall was shut because of our own Nana Yaa Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and her entourage who visited the white house and wanted to shop at that mall so we the "sankwas" had to wait. How many times haven't you stood in traffic because JLo or some celebrity is passing by your way in New York? But who cares if I'm the one passing?

It's just a food for thought. Think about it, it's the status of the players that has made them. Though it's uncivilized to insult anyone, it's part of it and it's every where across the globe not just Ghana.

that can reduce this problem of captain fitness for the blackstars - adolf armah, opoku nti, stephen appiah, john mensah, michael essien and even john boye acted as captain then look at what has happened to him. the mere clapping of hands on the pitch can't be enough to assume the captainship role.
if my suggestion is not taken & we qualify for the world cup, a lot of the key players will not be fit and they would have to be taken out, then the captain's band would settle somewhere else
