These boys earn a lot of money. But truth is, that is the language they understand now. The days of the Kofi Badus, the Abbreys, the Emmanuel Quarshies, etc are gone. Now, it's all about money, unfortunately.

The desire to be at the world cup is every national Team Player's dream and this is the motivation that is above paying huge sums as winning bonuses. Nigeria have since cut winning bonuses for the super eagles from $10,000 per player to $5,000 per player and the players have come to terms with the reduction.

Even brazil would have struggled against Ethiopia with the high altitude of 7,677 ft. Please google the effect of altitude on football result. Please purge yourself of arrogance. The Ehiopians played like a set of school boys that wanted to impress their principal whilst the super eagles played with some calm. The first half was in their favour becaise of the wind position. The second half was different. By the way, didnt you see we were denied a clear penalty call earlier and that the goal by the Ethiopians that the referee allowed wasnt a goal. You probabbly didnt see that since you wanted us to lose. You advised us to up our game? that we have been doing with our young crop of players. The holdest player on the pitch is enyamam who has been manning the post since 10 years ago. The rest are in their 20's. One thing i must also tell you is that qualifiers bring the worst in most teams all over the world. Ask Uruguay etc. Even when Ghana defeated zambia in kimasi, Ghana played poorly due to the pressure of qualification. So, eschew your arrogance , pride and hatred and pray we have 4 west african teams (ghana, nigeria, ivory coast and burkina )going to the world cup. There are no longer small teams any more.
